BR, so sorry to hear of your ov woes, are you consulting a Doctor whilst on it? Might be worth a word.
Cuilean, I know what you mean about becoming invested, I swore to myself I would take things relaxed this month but it's not that easy. I was doing pretty well at it until yesterday.
Been having some very weird light pink and light brown spotting this morning. I don't normally have spotting pre-AF, normally I feel a bit woozy and then it starts with a punch in the face and I need a pad there or else!! My body is obviously still playing with me, sigh.
Cuddles to everyone.0 -
Thanks. I did use that calculator and it told me I should ovulate between 12 and 18 May, so I'm well overdue
I haven't been back to the doctor yet, am going to give it one more cycle and then go back with my stats.
It is impossible not to become emotionally invested. I keep thinking about taking a step back from the tracking, but a) I'm not sure I can, when cm is there every time I go to the loo and b) if (as is looking increasingly likely) we do end up needing more intensive treatment, I'll need to know my cycles and my symptoms really well.
That positive mindset is very elusive at the moment!0 -
I'm sorry Aileth, I thought I saw a line too.
You can't but help get too invested. We had a good talk and decided to "see how things go" but I found DH on my Ovia app last night "just checking" how things might be going. It seems to be consuming us this past week and with more friends announcing their pregnancies it seems to be a big blow, most of all to DH at the moment. Just a bad week I think
Let's all try and keep positive - we didn't want winter babies anyway lol0 -
Just to bring the mood up a bit0

Thanks for your replies. Cuilean, yeah the last time I felt like this was when I was pg with DD but shes 11 now so feels like an eternity ago!
Aileth - sorry about your neg, Its def worth a retest in a couple of days if AF stays away!
Black Ribboner - sorry to hear about ov - this ttc is emotionally exhausting.
MovingUp - I know what you mean, we had a phase of friend after friend announcing pgs and it was really hard - especially as some had been together less time than we have been ttc!0 -
No more pink/brown spotting, nothing at all in fact, my cramps from this morning have gone and I feel fine, so not sure what my body is doing. Bit annoying really as I was expecting AF to come this afternoon and was planning on picking up some vino en-route home, but I'm still going to cross my fingers and not jinx it by buying one.
I bet as soon as I walk in and lock the front door it will start and then I'll have to go back out again!!!!!!!0 -
Congratulations michbright
Fingers crossed aileth that AF stays away and you get a bfp0 -
I hope this is positive news for you Aileth - when will you test again?
According to Ovia I am in my fertile period so we are DTD every other night.
Nscmummy - that is exactly right. Most of the couples have been together a short time which is fine but the announcement is very much "To our surprise ...." like it was oh so simple for them. I really need to get over this.0 -
I'm going to test on Saturday, as my parents are coming over for birthday celebrations, so I'll either be telling them some good news or getting wasted, I figure it's good time for it0
-
fingers crossed for you aileth.
So i'm back off my holiday and according to FF the week while we were away was my fertile window. we managed to dtd 5 days out of 7 so some good going i think. now i'm just waiting. been having some cramps the past 2 days which isn't normal for me but it's too early for anything to show so going to put it down to a change of foods/ environment. will quietly wait until the 6th as that's when FF predicts my AF and it's normally very close. xhi0
