Hi all, I havent posted anything for ages but am here looking for a bit of advice (tho I probably should not need it after all this time!!)
Myself and OH have been ttc since M/C in March 2013. My cycle is 28 days but opks arent positive til day 18. This month for the last few days I have had really achy boobs, a banging headache and feeling really queasy, but starving at the same time. I have bloated out and had to go up a jeans size!! been feeling strange twinges down low too, not something I have experienced before. Anyway today I am CD 30, I POAS this morning (IC)and was a BFN :-( Am I just too early or should I been putting the feeling crap down to being unwell rather than pg? Only been doing OPKS again last few months as was hoping not obsessing would help and this month we also added preseed into out plan.
Thanks in advance0 -
Just logged on to see if Alieth has any FMU test news - then realised this might not be the first thing she thinks to do after testing!!! Fingers crossed!!!
I think we are out this month already! I had a low sign on CB OV kit on Monday, yesterday it went straight to Peak, bypassing high and today I am back at low. We had planned to BD last night but we both fell asleep on the sofa around 8pm, not waking till 3am! And OH simply said 'not a chance' when I tried this morning!

BFN so must have been an evap line. Gutted. No sign of AF yet so I'll test in a few days if not.0

Oh aileth, I'm sorry. That truly sucks.
Ncsmummy, I'm afraid I don't have any useful advice, except to test again in a couple of days if still no AF - if it's still a bfn, then it's probably worth consulting a doctor.
Cuilean, I meant to say yesterday - I was sorry to hear of your rotten day, I hope you're feeling better. You're clearly a very good friend and I'm sure those around you really appreciate that support (as indeed do we on the forum)
I'm feeling rubbish this morning. After positive opk on Sunday and abdominal cramps Monday and yesterday (apparently common with Clomid around ovulation time), I was fully expecting a temp rise this morning. But nope, exactly the same as yesterday, just above cover line. Am really upset - CD25 and it doesn't look like I've ovulated yet. The Clomid made no difference and we still need to dtd at least every other day, which is becoming such a chore for us both, it's horrible. Why can't my body just work, damn it?0 -
Oh no, Aileth
There was definitely a line there on my laptop screen. How unfair, and cruel of that IC to get your hopes up. Definitely retest in a couple of days, just to be certain. Big hugs to you.
Thanks Black Ribboner, and everyone else who was so nice. Much appreciated. I can't believe how emotionally investing the whole TTC thing is. Each time I see a family with kids, I now realise that many of those parents have probably got quite a TTC story that they'll never tell. I'm just lucky enough to have you ladies to share stories with :rotfl:
Have you tried the Clomid Calculator, BR? It's a bit like an predictor for when you should ovulate on Clomid, based on your dates.

Also agree completely that BDing to a schedule is awful, unromantic and probably not helping the positive mindset people keep telling up we need to maintain
NCSmummy, I'd agree with BR - give it a couple of days and test again. Those signs are usually BFP indicators, aren't they?© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0
