Ah Cuilean, I'm sorry
A March baby it is then!
Had lunch today with a friend who's 7 months pregnant. She doesn't even talk about it loads, but obviously it flavours the conversation (her baby shower's next week) and I really shocked myself by how jealous I felt - if we'd caught first time I'd be in her position now. TTC is turning me into a bitter old woman who's obsessed with the state of her cervix  If the dreamed of bfp never comes I'm in serious danger of ending up in the loony bin - thank heavens we've moved on from Victorian times or I'd be there already!0 -

Can you imagine what that would be like? Hundreds of women running about a secure unit with OPKs and BBT thermometers, screaming "Is it a positive? Is it??" at each other, while psychologists look on in horror :rotfl:© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0 -

Haha, that made me actually lol - thanks! Also reminded me of something really disturbing I found the other day while searching for, ahem, 'erotic' stories online. Apparently there's a whole genre of fic out there about women who become sex crazed nymphos on "o" day  I didn't explore any further - thought it would have precisely the opposite effect to the one I was looking for, I'd be sitting there thinking "hmph, they know when they're ovulating!" :rotfl:0 -
Congrats Pinkshoes.
Has anyone had lots of cm 4 days when its 5DP0?
5dpoMFW 2016 No 68 £1300/£8500 No new toiletries Cook sth different0 -
so after my initial joy (sort of) at AF coming, it only lasted about a day and a half
which makes me think it wasn't really a proper one. so no idea whether i'll be ovulating normally etc.
ah well, will have to just DTD when i think we should and hope for the best...!Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
Sorry to all those with AF - lots of chocolate and cider for all!
AF has almost cleared up here which I'm pleased about - on to cycle 3 of actually trying (4 of not preventing).
Hope everyone has a nice long weekend with lots of BD so we can all get those BFPs very soon0 -
Skaps, I usually get quite a bit of creamy cm after ovulation until AF - as I understand it, it's due to the progesterone levels. I've had eggwhite after ovulation as well, which is apparently an estrogen surge.
The month I conceived, I had slightly less cm, but there was still a fair amount there. So I think it's really tricky to try relying on it as a symptom. But it's not anything to worry about either.0 -
CD1 here for me, onwards to cycle 4.0

CD28 and I'm having cramps, insomnia and the sort of acne which only a paper bag over my head will help with. AF is definitely coming. You'd think our bodies would have evolved to make this uncomfortable time a bit easier to bear - a week of beautifully clear skin, a chance to eat donuts every day without gaining weight, that sort of thing. But no, we have to endure cramps which could make us cry, aches and mood swings which would make the Incredible Hulk jealous. Thanks for that, mother nature!
Amazon have the Clearblue Digital OPK on Lightning Deal at the moment. £22.70, which is not a massive saving over the usual price of £28, but if you're using them, it'll save you a few quid. I'm not sure many of us are using CB OPKs though, since you'd need to sell at least one body part on the black market to afford them on a regular basis  If you want them, here's the link: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00BSNL77I?ref_=gb1h_tit_c-2_8707_e5abe02b&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE© Cuilean 2005.
