I don't know much about them, I wouldn't be overly worried (or overly hopeful :-( ) for this cycle, but if you have the same next cycle go and see your GP. The first cycle off after any contraception is always kind of squiffy

Right, I am making an executive decision and putting myself at 3DPO. I haven't really a clue but I realised that I haven't been holding my wee for long enough before doing an opk so my line on Monday *could* have been supposed to be positive but if it wasn't concentrated enough then the line could have looked as though it was negative (anyone still with me?)

    So, yeah, 3DPO it is.

  • Good work 4nnabella! Great executive decision making there :-p (if only OV worked like that... you could just decide... YEP, I'll OV TODAY... that would be amazing)

Good luck for the IVF skaps!

Dotty please don't ignore increased thirst. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about in your case, but for me it signalled the onset of type 1 diabetes and it's important to rule that out. I think you can get s blood glucose test at some pharmacies. Make sure you get it ruled out especially as conception and pregnancy with type 1 is a big challenge!

BFN this morning ladies :-( oh well, am sure there is a reason for it

Maire - I know about thirst can be diabetes, it was the other thing Doctor Google told me, I figure if it hangs around I will head to the doctors, especially since I now know it's NOT because I'm of

Ooh are you T1 marie? Me too. What's your Hba1c like? I'm trying super hard to keep my blood sugar as tight as possible; started making a concerted effort on 1st January by writing down every blood test, everything I eat and insulin amounts and have seen big improvements already. According to my monitor, and I know this is only representative of the tests you do, but in December my 14 day average was 8.4, 14th Jan it was 7.4 and now it is 6.8 so I'm really pleased.

And yes, massive thirst, frequent peeing, weight loss, blurry eyes were all symptoms I spotted before I was diagnosed (aged 19).

Hi all, sorry I've been mia for a while, been a busy few weeks and not had time to log on.

Welcome to insider, hope your stay is short :)

MRN, I also hide my folic acid, keep it in my bedside cupboard, rather than in the kitchen with my other vitamins. Wuld only be my family who would probably spot it, and not sure why I don't want them to know as I'm sure they'd only be supportive, but just feel like that might be extra pressure if other people knew.

4nnabella I also wish there was some easy way of knowing if you'd ov'd, though I think I'd prefer toenails to fingernails, that way you could hide them and not show everyone you were ov'ing! Good for you making the executive decision about it.
I'm still unsure about me, it might have been Thurs, but last month I had several symptoms that made me more confident in it. So I'm just going to stick around in the awaiting ov category for now.

Afraid I can't help with the clear blue opk Aileth.

Jo and Dotty sorry for the BFN's.

Skaps - good luck with the IVF.

    Kelly, thanks for the lists.

Sorry if I've missed anyone, it's been so long since I last posted, I only tried to comment on the most recent, or this could have turned into war & peace!

    Hope everyone's enjoying the weekend.
