I wish I could help MrsH, but the only advice I have is not to stress about it (impossible I know)
If you're a week overdue (or two weeks if you have an erratic cycle to begin with) go and see your doctor - there's loads of things that can affect AF
Alternatively, try another POAS... you never know?0 -
Sit tight MrsH... you'll know one way or another soon enough.
CD10 here. I started OPK testing today... first time I've used them. Had quite an amusing telephone conversation with OH about what receptical to use! He came up with the very MSE idea of a glass jar from the recycling... to which I said we don't have any in the recycling I'm saving them for jams/chutney... and he said "lucky Aunty XXX will get some extra flavor this year then".
It was probably funnier at the time.
Anyway it was negative as expected but takes the anxiety out of testing from now on just to have done it once. Hopefully I'll see something at some point and I can summon OH home from his Monday-Friday accommodation for some mid-week BDing or we'll just be doing our usual at the weekends.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
Any news MrsH and Oscarsmummy?
Good luck on BD'ing Mortgage Reduction Novice (I will call you MRN from now on!). Hopefully you can get some mid-week action!
AFM I'm on CD13 and I think I may have ovulated yesterday, which sucks because I only BD'd on Sunday! OH is having none of it, even though 1) he told me "new year, new plan" and all that and 2) I actually asked him last night!!!
It's really getting me down. He says he wants this more than anything in the world, but he won't actually BD with me! All I want is a 2015 baby and I will only have 2 cycles left to achieve thatOur Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Hello ladies (and gents if there are any!) Can I please join you?
OH and I are ttc baby no 2, our daughter will be three next week  (where has that time gone?!) I was on these boards when we were ttc the first time around, but that was nearly four years ago!
We had a mmc in Nov '13 which resulted in an ERPC and have only just worked up the courage to try again.
So for the lists:
4nnabella (33) ttc #2 since 12/14 (mmc 11/13)
Today is CD11, I have started using cheapie opks but I don't temp or anything as I don't sleep very well and seeing as I'm usually woken up by a rampaging toddler at anything between 5:30-7am, I don't think I'd get consistent results! :rotfl:
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you all and seeing lots of BFPs for everyone:j Debt Free 27.07.2011!! :j0 -
Welcome 4nnabella I hope your stay here is short and sweet :-)
I know how you feel lulu - they just don't seem to get the urgency. That being said, I've adopted a new tactic... jump him before he's properly awake in the morning... :-D successful so far!
I swear there's nothing less sexy than saying 'shall we BD dear? I'm ovulating'... there has got to be a subtler way to do it, and a way that makes them instantly want to. Ugh. Men
And no 4nnabella - I don't believe there ARE any gents here... do, speak up and prove me wrong though, because I am seriously needing some male advice on this one!0 -
Hi guys quick update I got a BFP on a clearblue digital on Tuesday and I am officially pregnant, five weeks tomorrow to be exact!!!! Me and my partner are both shocked but over the moon
. Thanks everyone for your help and support during my time here

Welcome 4nnabella.
Huge congratulations oscarsmummy!
Lulu... MRN is absolutely fine by me.
Well my OH (MrMRN, I guess!) has given up alcohol for the whole of 2015 because I pointed out to him that every potential ovulation weekend for 4 months in a row he'd gotten too drunk to do anything. So that waved goodbye to Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov 2014. Anyway he's doing well so far and offering to drive home mid-week should I get a positive OPK is quite a commitment.MFW: Nov 2008 £156k, Jun 2015 £129k, Jun 2017 £114k.0 -
