I'm back! A few minutes late as I've just been admiring my McCoys comp:rotfl:. I lurked earlier this afternoon so I do know that the multis disappeared from a.com but fortunately they are still 2 for £3. Otherwise I'd be thinking that we need to have a different person assigned to checking a different product every day on a.com to see if the pricing has changed - they nearly slipped this one past us! I think they all need to be checked at least twice a day to catch these things much earlier so we don't risk losing them. Thanks to Sal and to zippy for this morning:T.
With the Mr A shopping, I'm running about an hour late. At least the muggles are no longer jamming the roads now that their pointless Christmas frenzy is over, but I seem to have missed the schools traffic by being late and managed to get here before the rush hour!:T:T So, I might now be an hour late every time:rotfl:.
I'm not bothering with a second (or third) store today (would now get caught thick in the rush hour traffic anyway). I'll begin with the useless irrelevancies first - I have about three items outstanding but hardly worth it for that - after two with no price mean they are £1 as usual and 49p as usual then:rotfl:. They no longer have the mbuy showing on the own brand frozen Chicken Steaks, so I'm going to check msm (but it's of little help as online can be out of line with instore prices, but then, if I check the second store, it doesn't put mbuys up so probably it doesn't take them down when they've finished either, so whether it shows any or not in there it's of no help either way:rotfl:). I can't imagine many will be comparing own brand frozen chicken steaks vs M anyway.
Mbuys missing in my M instore today on the Sundae desserts, so they may or may not be on, but they're Savvy tempters anyway so won't do harm to remove them (possibly to reinstate the whole things on Wednesday:mad::rotfl:). One other item I'm checking on msm. And the Nestle Desserts are going to be removed - they were showing £1 'whilst stocks last' last week. There appears to be plenty of stock lasting today, however they now show £2. Whether that means they are £2 or whether they are still £1 and an offer label has been taken away or fallen down I have no idea. I'm removing them anyway, as they've been a bit risky of late.
I've found another JF at £2.50 - however it appears to be 'conveniently' (for them:() OOS:
John Frieda Sheer Blonde Everlasting Blonde Deep Conditioner (150ml)
£2.50 £1.67 / 100ml
[Strike]£6.29[/Strike] £4.19
£6.29
£6.29 * any 3 for £10.00
And...I've not even got to telling you of the good items today yet! Lots of 'RTCs' on tins, jars, cooking - some of them as low as 15p in M!:D The proper twice-weekly update post will be soon!0 -
Also does anyone remember a quidco offer with the National Lottery where you deposited at least £10 on a new account and got £10 back off quidco round about the Middle of December as mine has disappeared off my quidco account even though I raised a claim with them
Thank you
Exactly the same thing happened to me with the Lotto. Should have got £3 + £10. Both initially tracked, then the £10 vanished so I had to raise a claim early last month, but that is still open......in the new claims section where they moved it to. Have you looked there ?0 -
Meanwhile, despite all of these fantastic glitch items ongoing, the muggles are still buying their usual items:(.
M or Tvs A:
1 x Dairylea Cheese Triangles (8 per pack - 125g)£0.50£1.25
Avs T or M:
1 x ASDA Smartprice Unsmoked Back Bacon (312g)£1.56£1.56
Tvs A:
1 x ASDA British Semi Skimmed Milk 4 Pints (2.27L)£0.89£1.00
Mvs A:
1 x ASDA British Semi Skimmed Milk 4 Pints (2.27L)£0.89£1.39
And 6 pint milk better, as I hope it matches and works out slightly cheaper per pint! Meanwhile I notice they have put big red offer labels in my M onto their presumably non-comparable Meadow Park milk in M (it's 2L for 88p, so not quite as good as 4 pints) - they really don't want you buying the M own brand do they and matching them to a better price? Ignore the red borders and continue to match and more them to A on the M own brand comparable 4 or 6 pint milks. (Especially as, it would seem, M is the best difference on that, as they are the most expensive, as long as you avoid getting 3 of the 4 pint ones.) I suspect they are trying to draw attention to what, they think, is a good price on their Meadow Park milk. Ignore them - as we know better, or think we do(:o):rotfl:!0 -

Hi all, not sure if I've found a little glitch for c&c/hd, I may be wrong because normally I just follow this thread.
In my asda galaxy cookie crumble chocolate is reduced to 50p 114g, on asda site and on msm it's £1.39. £1 on msm on sainsburys.
So would this work out to about 8p after apg or am I totally wrong?
Also today I had email saying that I made a purchase through PayPal to tesco.com for £99.95, I've been told by PayPal it's a scam email and I was the third person he had spoke to today all same to tesco all the same value, was advised to just delete the email. Hth0 -
I got the Imperial Leather Classic Refreshing 2-in-1 shower & shampoo in T on muggle shop today(T was cheaper). It is £1 in T and the coupon from mag was accepted. They also give you 10 extra points and it compared to A at 87p. I'll go and get some more flavours tomorrow hopefully they will also compare.0

So you just need 3 bottles plus a carrot to take it over £15.
£5.03 in match points = 5003
£3 in more points = 3000
Total £8.03 back on a £15 spend
Have I got this correct, pretty please can someone confirm the maths?“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
25 items (23 different) on your bill qualify for comparison
Morrisons
+£14.44:(

1 x ASDA British Iceberg Lettuce Loose£0.49£0.49 (too expensive:p - Mvs Aldi 39p)
1 x ASDA Tenderheart Cabbage£0.49£0.49

1 x Cathedral City Mature Cheddar (550g)£3.27£7.29 (match and more)
1 x Cadbury Flake (4 per pack - 76g)£0.92£1.79 (match and more)
1 x Cadbury Double Decker (4 per pack - 218g)£0.92£1.79 (match and more)
Way more expensive vs elsewhere, nearest was vs Sains.
These were two particularly bad items vs T:
1 x ASDA Butcher's Selection Unsmoked Gammon Roasting ...£5.27£11.19
1 x ASDA Blueberries (260g)£1.50£3.12
Beef N/A.
Also some Chicago Town pizzas (98p vs £2) and the Cathedral City and Double Decker (not as good matching 92p A than waiting for inevitable £1 pricing to come on elsewhere and then APG. Unless you have Sains. staff discount I suppose - or if you have colleague card in A and buy straight there).
Lost out vs Waities:
1 x ASDA Blueberries (260g)£1.50£3.71:eek:
2 x Young's Scampi (220g)£5.96£8.00
The Cathedral City:mad:, and one of the two Chicago Towns they bought.
If forced to buy in A:( and not in Northern Ireland, Celery is cheapest vs Waities.0
