    Afternoon everyone.

Are the Udi's giving the same return as before? Doesn't take much to confuse me I'm afraid!

Sarah, sorry to hear that your DS treated you that way, thats not good.

Dipdab - well done on the house sale, that was quick!

Had a call from fracture clinic, DS has an appointment tomorrow for his dislocated knee. Bit short notice, but luckily its my day off. A&E had said it would be a week or two, so a bit surprised it is tomorrow.

just renewed my boiler central heating cover with HES
the service was great when I needed them last year for 2 breakdowns.

I was paying £9.98 and they wanted £18.50 per month on renewal:(

I told them I could change to npower at £15.50 for same cover and get £80 quidco. so = £8.84 per month.

he said best offer is £13.50 as he read cb t&a and I would have to have energy with npower as well. :(

I said id call him back as wanted to absorb the t&c myself. :o

rang him back and told him he had T&c wrong as this is a new quidco today so I would move if he could not better offer. :(

I wore him down he agreed to let me stay at £9.98 :D:D:D

I really did not want to move as im very happy with the service.

also if anyone else is interested in HES, you could get it for £8.98 going through link from mse as you get 10% discount as far as I understand. but npower is almost this price if you mess about with quidco
    hope this has helped someone.

Thanks so much for your input to our piano situation Tiny...its really good to hear all experiences and I welcome your thoughts....

I'm not at all musical and neither is anyone else in the family...it was something that Ds decided to do when he was very young and to this day I have no idea why he started playing...but play he did and it has come fairly naturally to him....and we have never pushed it...moreover just marvelled in his ability...he went on to take a second totally unrelated instrument in order to play in an orchestra which again we had no prior knowledge of in terms of how to play.

Music has always seemed to be his release and it came as a total bolt from the blue yesterday when he said enough was enough...it was always the thing he went to when other things were starting to get on top of him...
He was even telling friends and family over christmas that he sees it as an easy way to earn a little extra cash whilst at uni in a few years...and that he was going to be very pleased to be able to list the highest grade on his university statements later this year.
We always knew it wasnt his chosen path to a career or fame and fortune but it just seems to have come to such an abrupt stop.
We have asked him to speak to his tutor tonight to see if maybe there is a compromise otherwise....anyone want to buy a piano?????!!!

I purposely didn't buy a white choc mouse or jazzy because I couldn't remember which of them no longer show.

But don't get a MaltEaster Bunny as a filler. It doesn't appear on apg yet.. (Hopefully when it does it glitches like the creme eggs as they are 3f£1 in T and 2f88p in A)

    It's only a game
