    29. I forgot I ordered a new toothbrush in my grocery shopping so the old one will be used to clean around the taps and then binned.

    30. I'm going to use up a face pack tonight when I watch TV in bed. I light a candle so I don't have to turn on the bedroom lamps.:money:

    Up to 30 already, yes.:)

Rather a busy morning so far
    55 - 60 - Books - c/s
    61 - Hand warmers - c/s
    62 - Moisturiser OOD - bin
    63 - Trainers - taken to son's
64 - Last of presents handed out
65 - Broken and dried lipstick - bin
    66 - Hand bag - c/s
    67 - Soft toy - c/s
    70 - 68 Shoes - c/s

All items for the charity shop will be going in the morning and hopefully a couple more things will be added before that happens.
I cant say I feel any more 'cleansed' with the de-cluttering done so far but then again I haven't (as yet) missed anything that's gone out.

  • I realised I forgot to count several other removed items yesterday - I will count them here and let them go from my mind completely!

    32. Another bag of recycling
    33. 2 travel books returned to friend's parents (loaned for research purposes)
    34. Fossil to colleague whose son loves fossils and rocks
    35. Little bag of used stamps - to friend who will pass them on to a charity that collect them for fundraising.

    Today:

    36. Half used packet of cake support rods (wood dowelling for multi tiered cakes). They have been sat in the cupboard since 2011 when I made a friend's wedding cake! Donated to a regular cake decorator

Hope your day is going well whatever you're doing!

    Yesterday and today:

    11. Basketful of several years worth of receipts - in fire.

    12. 2 pairs of shoes - cs

    13. Pair of short boots - cs

    14. Empty plastic toiletry bottles - recycled

    15. 3 shoe boxes - recycled

    16. Finished jar of moisturizer - recycled

    17. Pile of professional journals - recycled

I am enjoying this; fortunately there is still plenty of clutter to choose from! Keep up the good work everyone :)

Today I have cleared out my jewellery box and sent a few bits to the cs
Yesterday I cleared out my tights drawer from when I was a size 14 and bought two pairs that will actually fit me....now I won't feel depressed looking at stuff that may well never fit again. :)
Also getting rid of a gorgeous pair of shoes which won't fit comfortably no matter how much I might wish otherwise.
