I finished my 2nd project of 2015 at the weekend - Christmas Village by Prairie Schooler

This was a partially completed UFO passed to me by a friend. I loved the design and the colours so really enjoyed stitching it and I plan to frame it for display this year

  • Beautiful sampler, makes me want to get back to cross stitch - have several UFOs in a drawer, but have so many other things to do first - am continuing to make birthday cards and have not needed to buy any this year, first time for a couple of years, also continuing to make squares for my crochet blanket, can't wait to see it finished but it will be a few months at least

Well, I can report 60 wedding invitations completed, so that's the back of the wedding stationery camel broken. The colour is teal, although it's showing up more as blue in the picture.

As there is more stationery to make, this challenge is not complete (it had better be by April though, lol).

    2. make a new cover for deck chair and varnish the chair
    3. Make 2 x sewing machine covers
    4. Make two pairs on Oven gloves (1 red and 1 green)
    5. Recane two chairs
    6. reseat a stool
    7. make myself a bag
    8. finish 2 x WIP from cross stitch (any)
    9. make 2 x dog coats
    10.
    11.
    12.
    13.
    14.

the rest I am leaving blank whilst I decide - if we find a new house I feel me and my sewing machine may be very busy.

Welcome that's already a challenging list especially as it's got two cross stitches on it. They're my slowest WIP's

Have done the chairs today, they actually don't take much time as they are just a staple and don't need any padding. Having trouble posting the photos may give it a rest for tonight and tackle again in the morning.
Oven gloves cut out as well as the deck chair, think the cross stitch will get put off again adn again until i run out of excuses:(

I have the beginnings of a list for 2015:

    1. Make knitted iPod and iPad covers.
    2. Knit a cardigan for myself out of chunky yarn I already have.
    3. Construct a collage out of old postcards - possibly more than one.
    4. Use Noro Japanese yarn to make a garment for myself.
    5. Make more new cuddly toys - different designs to be created.
    6. Greetings cards - develop new designs based upon knitting.
    7. Work on existing toy story book (this didn't happen last year).
8-15 I will fill in at a later date!

    :)
