  • Have actually made the first two cards for birthdays this year - which is two better than last year, so am on my way to one target. Also crocheted two more squares for my CAL blanket. Have been tidying and decluttering my stash so hope to be able to start mum's Christmas stocking this weekend. Just hope I can keep it all going!!

I can't wait to see everyone's projects this year, I loved seeing all the 14 projects in 2014. I'm carrying on most of the list I set last year and didn't do, this year I will!!

    1) snow place like home cross stitch, I did this years ago but didn't know how to finish it off/present it so my first is to learn how and back it onto fabric and add to hanger
2)bucilla felt wreath sewing all the characters/items
    3)assemble and finish the wreath
    4) make Christmas Eve crackers,
5)design and make 'baby washing line'
    6)make a baby bouquet
7)make Christmas cards for each family member and closest friends
    8)make flannel rabbits
    9) make flannel chicks
    10) use my dye cutter
    11) sew the 24 items for the advent calendar (it's a huge task so splitting it up)
    12) sew the main scene for advent calendar (it's a huge task so splitting it up)
    13) do the rest and put together the advent (it's a huge task so splitting it up))
    14)make my dad's stocking
15)finish my grandpas stocking (started in 2014)
Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

    Hi Girls,

Think I have done my first craft challenge - a few weeks back my sister talked about organising a surprise 80th birthday lunch for my Dad and asked would I do the birthday cake, as I am so "crafty". My Dad was a haulage contractor (lorry driver) when we were kids and was all his working life, mostly doing farm work. One of my fondest memory's was him carrying hay and straw.

Tomorrow is the big day so I have managed to do a cake - I do hope it is ok.

On the front (with his name like he did - when I went to the sweet shop to get the alphabet sweets they sold me just the letters I needed)

It will be sad tomorrow as well as it will be the first birthday my Dad has had without my Mum. At the lunch will be me, my OH, sister, brother, my Dads brother & his wife and his late brothers widow, so just the 8 of us.

Will be working in the morning then off to the event - picking up my aunt (the widow).

    Kind wishes to all

    sweetcarer ;)

This is wonderful and such a lovely personal gift.

I may be wrong but I think it may be the first cake we've had on our list of craft projects :T

    Love your gloves, bex.
Carlamarie, missed you out before - your peacock is great.

Well my list is wrong already! I didn't do that very first item. My friend had a daughter and I already had a pink quilt that I made last year.

    1. quilt/playmat for baby due this month
    2. bunting for same baby - completed 7.1.15
If I make any more bunting, I'll count it as part of this project.

    First finish of 2015

    1. Starry Night cross stitch - page 1 of 4 completed
    2. Clarinet tapestry bell pull - Finished
    3. Two baby cardigans for N
    4. Two baby cardigans for S
    5. Baby cardigan for C
    6. Baby cardigan for J

Started my first baby cardigan of many. Not that I'm putting off Starry Night or anything. DH is convinced I'll never finish it but now the bell pull is finished I have no UFO's at all!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Ive finished the first make of 2015 :j

My daughter has superhero day at school on Tuesday, instead of the usual suspects, she wanted to be CHEETAH GIRL! The fastest girl In The world.
She also wanted the Cape to go over her shoulder, rather than hang just at the back, she likes to be different that one!
