I have changed the name of the existing group so that we can still see last year's achievements. It's now called 15 in 15, 14 in 14.
I have also created a "permanent" alias for the group which is
https://www.flickr.com/groups/soulie/
I will add this as a link in the first post.
It's a restricted group so you have to apply for membership though if you were a member last year you don't have to reapply.0 -

I think I am up to date with the list of participants - shout out if I've missed you.
Great to see new members as well as familiar faces and I am blown away with the diversity of the projects we will be completing this year. Can't wait to see the update photos.
As for me I managed quite a bit of stitching once Christmas and New Year were out of the way. It was all on one project - At the Met by Mirabilia which won't be a quick finish but which I am really enjoying.0 -

Hi Girls,
Think I have done my first craft challenge - a few weeks back my sister talked about organising a surprise 80th birthday lunch for my Dad and asked would I do the birthday cake, as I am so "crafty". My Dad was a haulage contractor (lorry driver) when we were kids and was all his working life, mostly doing farm work. One of my fondest memory's was him carrying hay and straw.
Tomorrow is the big day so I have managed to do a cake - I do hope it is ok.

On the front (with his name like he did - when I went to the sweet shop to get the alphabet sweets they sold me just the letters I needed)

It will be sad tomorrow as well as it will be the first birthday my Dad has had without my Mum. At the lunch will be me, my OH, sister, brother, my Dads brother & his wife and his late brothers widow, so just the 8 of us.
Will be working in the morning then off to the event - picking up my aunt (the widow).
Kind wishes to all
