I have a spluttery S&G Sugar Crush shower wash almost at the end! I usually just throw away, but I've taken the pump off to use it all.

Have a few IN's to report, thanks to the Boots money-off vouchers!!

    - No7 Glycolic Peel Kit - this is usually £24.95, and was down to £15 in my store. Minus the £5 voucher made it £10, so I got 2!!

    - No7 Total Renewal Micro-dermabrasion exfoliator - A HG for me, love this stuff.

    - No7 Beautiful Skin Cleansing Oil. Full of mineral oil and petrolatum, but worth a punt for the new bullet proof mascara I bought recently. Smells nice too.

Also got a No7 Lip balm, but I count that as make up so not declaring as an in lol!

    51 items as at 18.1.15

Bought is to buy. Brought is to bring.

    Hello everyone!

This is a drive-by posting. There is so much to catch up on!

My biggest, warmest hugs to all those who need them.

My sincere admiration for the surprising number of you who resisted the Boots sale...well done you lot!

I didn't. That's not necessarily the worst thing in the world as I was careful what I bought and most of it is for presents, but there are a few carefully selected things for myself:

1 x Boots Mango gift set (including shower gel, body scrub & moisturiser, the first two of which I really need. For £3 I would have bought more if it wouldn not have resulted in a moisturiser overload to work through.)
1 x electric brush face cleanser (bit like the Champneys one)
1 x Sanctuary hand duo (hand wash & cream)
    1 x Champneys hand duo
    (hand wash & cream)
2 x FCUK hand duos (hand wash & cream)
    1 small Sanctuary set (present)
    1 large Dove set (present)
4 x 3 votive lights set (me and presents)
4 x Champneys reed diffuser sets (1 for me, 3 for presents)
    1 x Champneys man's set (present)
    1 x Ted Baker man's set
    (present)
1 x food flask (for my lunches)
1 x penknife (dib dib dib)
    1 x S&G Orangeade set (going back)
1 x Despicable Me child's set (going back)

    Also, my UUs:

    1 x Corsodyl Daily
1 x TBS Vitamin E Illuminating Moisture Cream

And heaven knows, I was really, really tempted to buy a tagine, but I put it back. It seems I have the slightest modicum of self-restraint!

Have a good day, everyone! :)

Did go into Boots today and was going to get hubby the dove sets as he was totally out of deodorant and thought these were a good price even though we/he doesn't need shower gel. Unfortunately they didn't have any left in stock so ended up getting his deodorant from Asda where they are selling 3 for £5.00 and got him 6 as I never usually find them at such a good price.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

    Owe Virgin [STRIKE]£5,950.00 [/STRIKE]at 0% til June 2009 £3,427.89. Owe HSBC [STRIKE]£5,460.78 [/STRIKE]2.9% til May 2010 £3,703.07. Owe Post Office £1,676.62 at 0% til September 2010
  • One TA to report.

this has smelt gross since I got it. Not lemony at all and couldn't even stand to use it on my feet! Had to go!

  • Just back from a weekend away walking, lovely weather but eaten way too much naughty things and feeling fatter than after Christmas now

I too avoided buying in the Boots sale, I even went twice, the second time I brought a couple of mens sets for for mum for Christmas gifts but nothing of my own spent this year...first for everything:)
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

Thank you, Pickle. That really made me giggle :D
  • erm, I bought a tagine and haven't got the first clue what to do with it. I've read all the recipes on line.

Then I got confused by the blogging experts. Do you season it before using it? Yes and No say the experts.

I have a glass topped cooker not electric rings. So some say I shouldn't use it on the glass because the heat doesn't do what it should.

So my tagine is sitting on top of my hutch laughing at me. It does look nice there.
