No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January 2015

What feels better for you ladies?
Splutterers or In's? I think I'm in a good mindset where splutterers and out's are just as exciting now as IN's.
Unfortunately I don't seem to be getting many - all my in use items seem to have turned into LHJs
Should lose a toothpaste before month end, and might (biiiiig might) also lose a shampoo and/or conditioner. Fingers crossed.....Cheryl0 -
I finished a bottle of mouthwash this morning. Can't remember it's name except it began with a D. Don't actually count these in the challenge as it's not something I use by myself nor do I stockpile them though saying this I do have two bottles to replace this one as Listerine was on offer.
V. boring. As usual after pelting along full speed ahead on all UUs they have now come to a halt.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Hello - I hope to accomplish this challenge this year (and possibly from now on); despite having the body shop and Tesco beauty advent calendars over christmas (hoping that most of the contents will last me most of the year, and saving money in the long run!).
I was very good and took over a carrier at christmas to family full of some bits that I know I would never use. Just got to find the time to use up year old, slightly squishy lush bath bombs...No buying unnecessary toiletries 2017 UU 6

More outs - wooh!
5) Laura Ashley hand cream - WNBA. My hands felt dry two minutes after using it so it was completely useless!
6) Armani Diamonds Rose mini-sized perfume
7) Versace Bright Crystal mini-sized perfume
8) Versace Bright Crystal Absolu mini-sized perfume
These perfumes were all very toilet-cleanery. I have pulled a notebook out of my notebook stash (which also needs to be decluttered) so I can keep notes on perfumes I try. I don't like so many perfumes on the market so want to keep a record.0 -
A tube of Yves Rocher Morrocan Clay Mask. Used it on my hair only.
Left it lovely and soft, so yes, I'll buy it again.
I've got a sort of out. One of our Saturday clerks is at uni and pretty broke, so she's getting a gwp makeup bag with six gwp mascaras, two lip glosses, samples of hair oils and three nailpolishes. We were taking about mascaras and I realized I have more gwp size ones than I'll ever use and she offered to rehome them. Job done.0 -
momobingu - definitely UUs, I'm on the same page as cw18 in that I like reclaiming my living space.
However, my trip to a certain sale on Wednesday might suggest otherwise... I surely can't be the only one on here to have caved?! Lots of the regular faces have been quite over the past few days so I have my sneaking suspicions that I'm not alone on the naughty step! Despite all best intentions I did buy a fair bit, though mostly as gifts to go with main pressies, mainly for next Christmas. I stocked up on body butters a bit as I get through these so quickly, and one S&G set I wanted. Full update on INs to follow when I have more time.
wondercollie what a lovely gesture!
welcome magpied :hello:
I had a run of UUs this week, and also have a few splutterers:
8. Kiehl's Ultimate Strength Hand Salve 30ml - GWP and I loved this - rich but non-greasy and smelled kind of menthol-ly. Loads of hand creams still to use (including another of these) but I might consider buying when needed.
9. Cussons Mum & Me Relax & Unwind Bath Soak 50ml - WNBA, did the job as shower gel for the gym but nothing special.
10. Kiehl's Powerful Strength Line-Reducing Treatment 5ml - GWP and WNB due to price - a little went a very long way and I liked it at first but no difference noted over a month's (!!!) usage and started to feel quite siliconey.
Happy weekend everyone!MFW 2017 #123 2018: £1,852.64/£39,200 (4.7%)0 -
I'm determined to go home tonight, have a nice long pamper and have some UU's!
I am putting together a few makeup/beauty boxes for friends (2 people so far) in order to destash some of my untouched new items. No buying toiletries challenge

Hi all - just a TA for me today:
The Body Shop Aloe Calming Facial Cleanser 200ml: I used about half of the bottle up but my usage seems to have correlated with a mass breakout of spots so it's going in the recycling. It was also extremely difficult to get out of the bottle, even with storing it upside down so I wouldn't recommend and WNBA.
Also, welcome Magpied! I had the body shop advent calender too - some lovely bits in there!0 -

Thanks so much, AND, for sharing Trudij's wonderful news :j :j :j
Please send my love and congratulations to her.
I think I'm going to be quiet on the UU front for a while. I have some splutterers but I've jumped into using my new REN skincare and they will all (hopefully!) be LHJ. My skin seems really happy with my new routine, which is no small thing.
I didn't go to the Boots sale but I have received the last of my sale bits:
Soap and Glory set
Sugar Crush Body Wash (250ml)
Sugar Crush Sugar Scrub (50ml)
Sugar Crush Body Buttercream (300ml)
Calvin Klein Reveal Perfume (50ml)
Calvin Klein Reveal Body Lotion (100ml)
Aromatherapy Associates Support Equilibrium Bath & Shower Oil 7.5ml (I think this is my favourite)
I ordered the S&G set and the perfume on Boxing Day but only just collected them. I love the perfume and it was a bargain (to me) at £18. I've wanted to try Sugar Crush for such a long time (so many bloggers have raved about the scent) and I've found that I don't really like it! I paid for the set with points so it isn't a disaster. I've not tried the scrub yet but I'm relieved that the shower gel and scrub are small sizes :rotfl: (The only S&G body care I've tried before was the Righteous Butter which I loved.) I really like the formulation of the Sugar Crush Buttercream but not the scent (I'm really surprised by this...) Hopefully it will grow on me! :rotfl:0 -

Normally I'd say OUTs were more exciting but as you can tell from my post above I've been enjoying INs a little too much :rotfl:
In the months before Christmas I was doing really well with no buying. I'm back on the wagon now. I find it easiest to think about it one month at a time which is why this challenge is perfect. I'm aiming for no INs until the summer sales () but if I think that far ahead I get panicky, so I'll begin with NO MORE INs IN JANUARY.
My small OUT is:
9. Gazelli Triple Youth Moisturiser (5ml) - very nice but WNBA as there are things I prefer that are much cheaper0
