We filled a 12 foot skip today, and am having another one delivered tomorrow. The 6 hour round trip drive from where we live to my mum's house doesn't make it easier either :(

I know, we spent so many weekends travelling between the local CS and tip but sadly most of the stuff came back to ours and is stored in our loft which MrM now wants to clear out!! Couldn't say anything at the time as it was all so raw for him but just a little annoyed now that we are doing the job twice effectively. Large items of furniture we managed to get a local CS to collect.

    Take care, hon x

Why under sufferance? I love my Evening Blooms oil :)

Never sure that I like the fragrance TBH. Don't hate it but don't love it either.
Any good facial wipes? I think the soap and glory ones are very average for the money

I've used Simple Oil Balancing ones which are great for a quick swipe to remove make up if I don't have time/can't be bothered to have a full wash (usually either on holiday or after a heavy night out).

    Another UU

    9. Aromatherapy Associates Revive Body Gel 40ml - This came in one of the Birch Boxes last year. WNB. Don't particularly like gel textures. Find that I end up applying too much and the product then becoming sticky. This one smelt like a watered down version of Vicks Vapour Rub! I'm sure it's lovely in the hot Summer months but in Winter Brrrr!

Thank you so much for that lovely news, I hope that they are both doing well, I have been thinking recently that it must be time:)

I always use Simple ones. I might try Aldi ones in the near future, as I always hear good things about their Lacura range.

    Fantastic news :j

I have lost track of where I'm up to on this thread and when I last posted. I had a UU of Oral B toothpaste - replaced with the same. I've also had a GA of some body wash.

I was thinking earlier, I buy body scrubs but I've got a body brush that came in a gift set ages ago and I think I ought to try using that instead and save myself some money.
Thank you to everyone who posts on here :)

dazedandconfused - I like the No7 wipes although I only ever use them when camping and not on a long term basis.

Macaron - I can't recommend a specific foot cream for cracked heels as I have never had them but maybe a rich moisturiser used everyday will solve the problem.

And - great news for Trudi - other peoples pregnancies seem to pass much quicker than mine ever did.

    I have two uu

Sanctuary Spa Refine & Resurface Body Scrub 15ml - this was lovely, a very fine microdermabrasion scrub which smelt of orange and grapefruit. WBA

Avon Skin So Soft Creamy Body Wash 200ml - this felt quite luxurious, you get mounds of creamy bubbles with a body puff.

some ins just to balance that out:o

    Origins Spot Remover 10ml
MAC Lipstick in Patisserie (my first ever MAC lipstick)
Philosophy Amazing Grace Layering Set x 2 (Shower Gel 240ml, Fragrance 60ml and Whipped Body Cream 120ml)

I couldn't resist the Philosophy sets, I totally love this scent and they were half price and at full price they were the same price just about as the fragrance on its own.

I have just finished chatting to Trudij on Messenger, she thanks you all for your good wishes and sends love in return. No name for the little one as yet, who is so beautiful; she was an emergency Caesar after a failed induction.
Little one is getting the hang of feeding, Trudi hopes to escape ASAP as she has been in since Saturday and is missing home/her dogs. Meanwhile I have just found a good home for the baby monitor a manufacturer sent me to trial! Yay!
(A visit to this thread by Trudi is promised once things settle down.) :D

  • Hi everyone! I have had a flurry of UUs as a few things all finished at once! Here they are:

The Body Shop Shea Lip Butter 10ml: I’m not a huge fan of lip butters but I got this one as part of a set and it smelt quite nice. It also had a nude colour to it which looked nice when applied so WMBA if part of a set. I have a few more TBS lip butters to use up from my advent calendar so I will see how they compare.

The Body Shop Shea Butter Body Scrub 200ml: Rich scented scrub with lots of uses. It does leave the skin a bit greasy though so you have to use a shower gel straight after. WMBA if part of a set.

Superdrug Skin Soft intensive Body Lotion for Dry Skin 250ml: I bought a load of these for 25p each as they were being discontinued. They have a very nice smell but this one is a little bit too runny; the other type I picked up is much better and more intense so I will be using that one now!

Superdrug Dragonfruit and Vanilla Shower Gel 250ml: I love this scent as it’s not too sweet and has a beautiful colour. WDBA and I have another in my stash!

Superdrug Spot Clearing Facial Cleansing Wipes: These were being discontinued so I got two packs for 60p. They were a little dry when I opened them so I added some water to revive them and they were fine to use. Nothing special but at 30p a pack, I can’t really complain!

The Body Shop Cranberry Heart Soap: lovely long lasting scent but it does dissolve quickly! WMBA if it was on sale.

I'm going to brave a certain store's 70% off sale (rumoured to be tomorrow but I'll pop into town either way) although my local (Guildford) was apparently manic last year.
