  • Finally payday again. I've just done my scores on the doors and once again I'm sooooo cross with myself

    Cc1 was £0 now £0
    Cc2 was £2162.61 now £1991.46 - decrease £171.15
    Cc3 was £720 now £710 - decrease £10
    Od was £676.77 now £733.6 increase £56.83 :mad::mad::mad:

    Total was £3559.38 now £3435.06 - decrease £124.32

Not sure what's happened with the od, will have to do a trawl of the statements grrrr.

On a more positive note, my emergency fund is now stood at £250, that I managed not to touch :)

Going to be another short month money wise. OH hasn't travelled so much with work so his mileage payment is down £200 on last month - not good

Still haven't sorted my car insurance out - looks like this may be around £220. It's due at the end of the month so really need to get onto it.

Got £21 bids on ebay so far so will put this towards the min payments for cards as its looking doubtful I'll be able to pay much more.

Planning on spending Easter Weekend doing a mass Declutter, for ebay and / or a car boot (prob may bank hol when it's warmed up a touch). Will hopefully generate a few pennies to chuck at the debt.

Really need to be checking in more regularly, seems to be the best way to keep my motivation up.

Well done on the emergency fund and good luck over Easter - we're doing something similar!

    'See' you tomorrow ;)
    Debt - CCV £3792
CCB £1383 (took a hit for a holiday)

    Loan 1 £1787
    Loan 2 £1683
    Total £8601 Was £39302
  • Morning!
Not much to report. Have done the food shop, monthly staples plus fresh £90 ish spent  needless to say OH was with me lol! Hopefully should only need fresh meat, bread, fruit and veg for remainder of month.

Ebay sales are going ok, upto £27 ending tomorrow - should have a bit to chuck at the cc. May make a start on the decluttering this weekend and hopefully find a few more bits to sell.

Still need to sort car insurance out - will get onto it today. Have run some quotes via TCB, frustratingly the top 4 or 5 companies are £50 plus cashback cheaper than my renewal, but are owned by the company I'm currently with so I need to ring to take out cover, no doubt missing out on the cashback given that technically I'm already a customer grrrr!

Email prompt has come through for meter readings, will also do this today - fingers crossed it's good news lol!

    Have a good weekend x

Good luck with the ebay sales, here's to a happy April x
£250 shopping, diesel and any other spends
    December 16- January 15 £345.06/250.00 -£95.06
    £2 saving a day for christmas 2017 £0/£730
Total debt paid off before 26 December 2017 £3142.31/14,053.85 = £10911.54 left to go
  • Miserable Sunday morning :(

Woofs walked, ponies done and back home in my pjs!

Managed to sort the car insurance for £30 less than my renewal plus all being well another £30 in cashback (fingers crossed it tracks!). Just need to phone current company and cancel the renewal.

Submitted meter readings and as a result the monthly dd has dropped by £8 and I have £77 being refunded :D not a bad result :D

Think today is gonna be a duvet day :D
  • Ebay listings finished last night - 3 out the 4 sold netting £45 :) I've rounded this upto £50 and paid it off the cc.

Weekend was pretty quiet. Picked a few bits up in Aldi on Saturday, but other than that haven't spent anything.

Cashback for insurance hasn't tracked yet  I'll give it a few more days and then raise a ticket if need be. Got £155 sat in TCB at the mo, I'm so impatient - I want it now to pay off cc!

Nice 4 day week this week, no doubt I'll be soooo ready for the long weekend.

Few little jobs to do this week......

    1. Cancel current insurance
    2. Post ebay
    3. Take heavier winter rugs to be cleaned

I'm sure there's more, but that'll do for a start!

Great news on the sales. You sound as impatient as me lol.

  • Not a great deal to report - I've had a bid on my relisted ebay item, only £7 at the mo but every little helps. Got a weekend of decluttering planned, must be good and get it sorted as need more ebay fodder lol!

Refund from gas and elec hasn't landed in account yet, although it has been debited from the utilities account so hopefully should be with me in the next couple of days. I'll give it until after the bank holiday weekend and chase it up.

  • Yay to the four day weekend :j:beer::j

Made a start on the mass declutter - have a pile of bits to try and ebay. Will continue with it today and hopefully start listing tomorrow. Only left the house to walk the woofs and see to the ponies am and pm, so a NSD.

The cashback for the house ins purchased in January has finally moved from tracked to confirmed, so fingers crossed it shouldn't be too much longer until it's payable. That'll be £100 to chuck at the card :D

Finally managed to swag another £5gc - I've really lost my way with it this year. Last year was regularly getting £25 / month, but at the mo I'm lucky to get £10-£15. I guess every little helps and that each £5 is £5 less that christmas and birthdays are costing me.

Right best get dressed and walk those woofs - have a lovely Easter x
