Hello everyone, I love reading about the different sites. I have been trying to get back into it with some success and some frustration.

Qmee appears to have come to a standstill for me.
    Nectar adpoints has ceased :)
YouGov crashes every time I try and use it.
Paypal needs sorting, I appear to be locked out after someone attempted to use it fraudulently (which has been dealt with, phew.)
Pinecone has the hump with me I think for ignoring some chances to do it.
I can't muster enough get up and go to get up and go and do any mystery shops :)

Hehe -- so that's a bit of a wake up call for me as to what happens when you take your eye off the ball for a few months!

I have £3.82 payout from TopCashback, £1.13 paid back onto credit card through not so massive cashback, 88p interest on a Barclays bank account.

The big one is a mileage claim I've just been paid £280 for a couple of months.

Hoping to start back on ebay in February as well as facebook selling, got a fair bit of stuff, fingers crossed.

Thanks for all the inspiration, bit of an unusual month for me with one-off big sum bank interest and double mileage payout. Pending will be a tiny bit of interest from Santander 123 Account and a few pence in nectar points but have gone back to Aldi to save more in long run.

    Hiya everyone

I feel a bit like you Mrs C - my GUAG has definitely gone on a winter's break without me !!

I have been busy in other things and have been working and sorting out stuff for family and home. However, not done much on the making extra cash front.

However, good news is I am £109.90 better off from money back from tax-man - Woohoo :T

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday

Ok, a bit late, as nearing the end of the month, but a challenge for you all. Some of you have done this with me previously and some were successful in finding lost money...

read this article and if you haven't done it already or before, have a go and then post your results :D

Thanks for that link. I will definitely look into,it, I think there a few bits and bobs lying around in dormant accounts I shall be looking in how to do this and of course the PPI tip from the other day.

I have a lot of decluttering to do at the moment and that includes a mountain of paperwork. In fact I'm supposed to be working my way through the paperwork mountain today - I need some caffeine first though.......

    Another £52-40 to the pot.

    2 x £25 premium bond wins - wahoo - and £2.40 supermarket savings.

Wonder if I can get to £300 by the end of the month. ;)

Hi alipop. I'm a newbie here too. It's fab - loads of helpful tips and advice.

I set myself a target of £150 and have smashed that. I would never have dreamed I could do this but it just goes to show what you can do when you try.

I don't know how I'll do next month, well just have to see. I'm going to use Aesops tips to see what extra I can find from "lost money" and PPI claims etc. I suppose it will all be just dribs and drabs but it all adds up.
  • if none of the rotas for next month change (which they pretty much always do) then I'm looking at £208 worth of overtime on my February pay as well which makes me happy. :)

Surprise, surprise. The rotas have changed. BUT I now have more overtime. £230 worth now for my February pay. Just have to hope none of the rotas change AGAIN. :)

For those of you who pay a premium for your bank account or don't know that you do.... have you checked the terms and conditions of your account....

for example if you were told you will get phone insurance cover, were you told you need to register your phone first to be covered?

take a look here, and if any are claiming, please let us know if you were successful

anyone having issues with qmee, ie searches not happening, clear your internet cache. If this is clogged up, it stops your searches happening.
