Hi my friends PC is showing up as "This copy of windows is not genuine" it is a second hand Laptop from a computer shop and the warning has only appeared after I did a Norton scan which came up with a virus which began ""oem .... 64sys"" This was deleted The shop has now said they forgot to active the windows, but I just…

No its a single licence that can be used on 3 machines. In the same way you get AV licences to cover 3 machines, just that you have to pay to increase the machine usage per MS licence. the only thing is the OS must be installed on the main licenced machine to allow it to be valid on the other 2 machines
