They will attempt to throw in some charges to make it appear as if it's less hassle just to pay the invoice; interest (negligible), court costs etc.

It won't reach court IMO - they'd have to prove for starters that your actions cost them £100.

Out of curiosity then - did you receive your money (£450) back from Argos?

Edit: It's probably in your interest not to respond to my question. You can imagine what someone from Argos would think if they matched the contents of this thread to your 'Item not Received' claim.

Also if I send in the denial letter as they've sent me a 2nd letter, will they send me any more? What does the letter of denial mean?

Sorry I've read it now. Btw DWF isn't the same as RLP. Also referring back to my question, I said if I send them the letter of denial - would I later receive any more from them. Thanks
