  • Threads over the weekend show that action can be taken swiftly when something is perceived to be against MSE's activities and the forum rules. After all these months of business activity and increasing number of happy people with their dealings with them it might be time to bury the hatchet? Surely MSE or the Mods would have banned them already? That increasingly looks unlikely as more and more people keep wining and the posts about actual spam are not at all increasing.

Rich has openly spoken about behaviour changes which seems to have been entirely skimmed over.

I've never seen a business feel they needed to explain themselves to such a level in 8 years of comping. I am honestly in awe of the way Rich handled it and after my DAYS of research I found their policies to be little different to many of the comps I enter frequently from highly respectable companies.

I was unsure and would have happily binned any further thoughts of enter Sprinkle's comps. But after looking further into I now personally think their CURRENT activity is superior than many others I enter.

    Hello

    >> Did that information include the fact your details were being sold ?

They're not though, you will always opt-in with clear warnings but if you can't make that distinction, sorry.

Exactly the same as MyOffers and other sites on the spam list.

So your main gripe with this is the possibility that you might get a few extra emails ?

Because I don't think MSE has a 'self promoting data harvester who will sell compers details' list so the spam one is the closest thing to it

But after looking further into I now personally think their CURRENT activity is superior than many others I enter.

What on earth are you entering then?

The vast majority of sites produce no spam and provide prizes as stated, what current "activity" makes them superior to that?
None of the 350+ sites that I have won from asked me to to post on the forum.
  • There is zero spam. Zero. I used myoffers and they had loads. There is no justification for comparison to myoffers, none. Based on my use of both companies.

If they are, then the companies they are selling them to don't seem to be doing much, if anything, with them. As the majority of us have said, we have had no increase in spam whether it be email, phone, sms, post or otherwise.

  • Rich also states the regulations surrounding such activity and mentions the ICO etc. If any of you have genuine concerns about their activities REPORT THEM.

I personally see no reason to NOT use them and have never experienced or seen anyone else experience anything that makes me understand otherwise. I went back months. This promotion thing Rich has mentioned his desire to change if it was a problem.. and it keeps being bypassed!!

Also the increased discussion to attempt to make us see them as less of a company has in my eyes done the COMPLETE REVERSE.
