  • Oh Fuddle that is one clever man you have.

I know the wood can be quite rough but he has worked wonders and I love the colour.

Wow Fuddle! I love the arbour and table! you would never know they started life as pallets! What a gifted and talented OH you have! there could be a nice little earner there for both............if you lived locally I would happily pay for either of those.

Lovely Fuddle - be proud of that man he's done a great job for his family
Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle

Well done to your DH, fuddle, an arbour like that could easily cost a three figure sum in garden centres!

Wow those are gorgeous Fuddle. Such a pretty colour. I wish my oh had the confidence to make things like that for me. He gets scared when I have the ideas. Maybe I need to learn to do things like that.

Truly superb work, highlights of MMM

Not been on here much lately but had to comment on the amazing arbour Fuddle. That would have cost over £200 from what I have seen in the garden centres.

Im feeling much more like my old self today and have been very productive too. I have had some health issues which my new Gp kindly sorted after ranting about the lack of care my old Gp gave me. He reckons its only my regular excercise and eating simple food which has prevented me having a stroke or worse - his words :eek:

So today I have recycled the unused guest book from Ds's marriage blessing and turned it into a christening guest book with embroidered front panel. I was given some big daisy plants (dont know the name) which I have been searching for since mine died a few years ago so planted them. I watered all my veggies with hm miracle grow and planted some of my bargain seed potatoes. I am now busy painting wooden bits and bobs that I have been buying bit by bit from Cs's and ys items in craft shops so I can folk paint them. I tried using some cheap kiddies paint but it didnt work so dug out my 10 year old paints from box upstairs and have exactly the colours I need :j.

I also cut my hair £15 saved :T

Hubby has been in bed since Sunday night apart from a couple of hours here and there so am happy that I used my time well...oh and I painted hair and faces on 12 peg dolls. Im not even tired yet!
