good morning chums, well I survived Bluewater yesterday intact without spending any cash I looked at some tablecloths for a present for someone but I think I will do an online search as The White Company was not what I wanted either to look at or pricewise. I also looked in the Sketchers shop as I think my old white ones are really in need of retiring now 5 years washed and worn out.Nothing I liked in there I wanted just plain white ones and a lot were spangly ones ,not really what I like, plus at £85 a pop a bit dear for what's basically plimpsolls :):):).

Then I had a thought I was sure DD had brought me some Reekboks classics back from the US a couple of years ago I couldn't remember what I had done with them.I texted her to make sure and she said yes she had.So when I came home I turned the house upside down and eventually found a pair in the original box underneath lots of craft stuff in my computer room.Voila a unworn pair of trainers that I had forgotten about until yesterday. So I have saved myself a few shekels as I won't need to buy new trainers this year.I love the Sketchers ,but no way am I paying that sort of loot for them:):):)
My friend and I had a nice free coffee and cake at John Lewis' though and the litte twins were so well behaved. They are 21 months and gorgeous.

Today I think I will do some more de-cluttering to see what other treasures I can unearth :)
Have a good day chums what ever you are doing

Fuddle - yes there are evergreen clematis. I think Vhalla was after one and its in earlier posts - but you can google evergreen clematis & lots will come up. There's also a few sites that make things out of pallets and they've some super ideas - can't remember the site names but google that too. I do remeber seeing a bar/barbecue made with pallets and using paving slabs as a top - looked really good!

Thanks silvasava. I will have a look. I am thinking of growing it in a pot so I can take it with me when we have to move on so will investigate what's best for pot growth etc before I buy.

It has actually turned into arbor making day because the weather is poor (Yey! for the plot thought!) although he's spent more time dodging the showers than assembling and I don't actually think he has a screw in place yet  He went to work early on to fetch some posts of wood and more pallets. He thinks we'll have to buy a bit of timber too but the cost will be minimal. He's pulled a pallet aside as it's in really good condition. He's going to sand it, making it into a small outdoor table. I showed him the bar picture. I too have seen the one with slabs on the top. It got him thinking. ;) He likes it but we'll have to see what is left over from the arbor. Such fun making things for free.

My mother-in-law is down at the weekend which is great but also down to visit is DH's sister. That's not so great. She very much a Jones' keep-a-upper so I feel a little bit  because I don't do that any more.

Fuddle she should be wanting to keep up with you & your DH, as your life is much more satisfying than being a Jones keeper-upper ;):):D

    Good evening

Can I pop my head over the MMM wall and say hello?

    I too am a MMM-er.

So today I have planted out some of my own home grown sweet peas, stocks as well as some coriander, basil and mint. I love it when I get free plants. I haunt the reduced price plants in supermarkets to see if I can get them to grow again.

Vulpix, ~I hope your mum is recovering and my thoughts are with you.
