    Evening

I feel like I haven't done very much today but I feel shattered. Was sneezing a lot earlier so took a couple of cold tabs so maybe coming down with something, that would be about right for going back to work tomorrow.

    WM x 3
    Dog walk
    Bed stripped and bedding washed
    Dinner coooked
    WUDUPA (with DH)
Clothes put on airer and raidators to avoid using TD

Now watching carp on TV wrapped in a fleece blanky while I catch up on here.

HoneyBear - I hope the smell isnt too big a problem to sort
Serena - dont stress about work, it'll be fine (although I am thinking the same but havent resorted to getting the laptop out just to check if there was anything that came in over the last 2 weeks)
msgnomey - Not sure what the assignments are but well done :D
Lynnejk - I did smile at your post this morning but darent go on to the links as I would probably have been there all day.
Kaz2904 - hope you have an easy night
Narcolepsy - Sounds like a real positive for Mr Narco
Dancemum - As I am starting to support a cat charity I had been thinking about possibly adopting another but the thought of insurance etc is horrendous (and I do have some issues re the last cat I had and no insurance but a long story)

Well all I need now is a cuppa and something sweet then I'll probably have an early night.

Might be back to have a look at the new thread later but if not it will be after work, dogwalk and dinner cooking tomorrow.

PS DH has said he will do the clothes rails tomorrow
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • Only managed to do DS1 room today, but ended up changing it all round and now looking for new bedside cabinet and drawers for him on the bay, so he's happy.

Going have a quick go in DS2 room before he goes bed in a hour.
Loving life to the full, just need purse full too :)

Evening! I've been decluttering!! So far, I've been through 23 magazines, torn out the pages I want to keep (not many!) and put what's left in the recycling. Put the old rat cage outside with a sign saying 'Free - just needs a good clean' and it went within a few hours! And threw out one OoD lip balm and some OoD fruit teabags. Total so far = 26 and that's not counting the things ready for charity shop as they haven't left the house yet. Christmas cards and glass bottles are also bagged up ready to take to the recycling banks tomorrow.

Not much else done but I am just about ready for tomorrow - only teaching a.m. so have just sorted that and will use tomorrow afternoon to finalise the rest of the week. We are doing Winter / New Year's things tomorrow so we can then set up the classroom after school before our Pirate topic starts on Tuesday :D

    Hugs for all xx

    Well done Froddy.

    Good luck for tomorrow serena.

Kittens asleep on me again, I must be comfy, they keep waking each other up by purring so loudly.

I need to move to iron a couple of bits. I have sorted out more paperwork but still don't feel near the end of it.

    Evening,

Gosh I'm pooped. But FIL sails he's has a lovely time, the cake was ooh'd and ahh'd at and much admired. Then eaten! I did a mix of hot and cold buffet but tbh not loads and most of it has gone. We all had a giggle at the pass the parcel, each time someone unwrapped they also got to pull a ribbon off the piñata which held on till the very end.

So a good time was had by all, even the sleeping baby was put in the pass the parcel circle in his little bouncy chair, bless.

Once guests were gone I got the littlies straight upstairs to alternate baths / tidying. DS was very proud to show me he had put all his trains away carefully, and even DD showed willing.

Temporary tattoos removed, clean uniforms laid out, bags shoes and coats at the ready!

I've tidied LR and kitchen, set DW on and generally binned and recycled a lot of party gibble.

I'm also showered and hair washed and dried, and I'm switching the ipad off at 9.30. I've been so groggy these last few mornings and I want to be fresh as a daisy tomorrow.

    Back to the grindstone. _pale_

  • Glad the party went well bossy.

Have done a few bits of ironing and given the kitchen floor a swish. I should have finished the paperwork I started earlier but it's freezing in the office - what a pathetic excuse.

Oh and I have made a shopping list. I haven't been food shopping since before Christmas and the cupboards are bare. We don't even have any loo rolls to put in the ds loo!

Quite a bit of paid stuff for both jobs tomorrow unfortunately .. so I should be thinking about bedtime really.
