One snippet: Round here the people that pay for name labels to be sewn on are usually paying about £1 each label. Anyone using this service does so because they are short of time and are happy to pay for the service. Don't sell yourself short.
I agree, that sounds quite reasonable for sewing them on by hand. Also, it's worth thinking about pricing the jobs you don't like doing higher than strictly necessary to make a profit, to see if it puts people off. If it doesn't, at least you're earning well from it!

I'm following along with MemoryGirl, and others with Jack Black about setting goals, dreams, etc etc
So one of my wish list was to get a bike so I can ride with DGD and get fitter possibly. So after doing my list of 30 (odd) things yesterday, I put a request on a freebie site on Facebook and result! I have been offered a bike. Just waiting to arrange pick up ( when the lady can find the key to the shed).
So I'm having my lunch, it's quiet at work, but having one of those days where threads tangle, and needles break. So a complete standstill while I relax, eat food, then get back to it and sort it out!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

I am always amazed at the number of views my threads get.
This year has been no exception! Nearly twice as many as my first few years.
Now they really were hard times!
I finally see the wood from the trees more times now.
I bounce back into a more positive frame of mind sooner these days.
I seem to manage the catastrophes better too.
I would however like this new year to be an even better year for the Mooloo clan.
If I could wish for anything, it would be for better luck for my family, especially the new babies coming into this world between March and August.
If I was lucky enough to have more than one wish, it would be that those close friends of mine who are very ill could return to good health. That the medical research finally had a breakthrough and we could treat these horrible illnesses!
Not as tall an order really!! Miracles can happen and do.
I believe in the power of thought. The energy we give out and receive. How a thought can become something physical. That the impossible is only temporarily, as we create the answers collectively.
I know it can seam a little sceptical but for me it makes sense.
The more positive I become, the more positive things happen.
I realise it's not 100% fool proof, but it works for me.
So I will Keep Calm, Carry on thinking Positively, and watch life improve!

    Thank you my friend xx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Oh well done on getting a bike!
I must go back to MemoryGirl's blog and listen to Jack Black again and start the process properly. No time like the present! :D

I'm setting my goals, I'm cutting them down, and taking a lot of thought time today ready for my new year ahead.
DGD is with her grandad since 4pm yesterday, and the shop is shut, so I can sit and work on my goals etc amongst other things.
January will be a tight month after shutting shop so the budget will be next on my agenda.
I'm watching a magpie and a squirrel on the lawn in the bright sunshine! Two magpies. Simple joys.

I should have never used January20 as my user name as every time I see the month written down I think somebody is talking about me lol!

I've done the wheel of life and the gratification list, the elimination list and the bin bag therapy and set my goals but.... I'm going to struggle with the last part when you have to read your goal at night and in the morning. Also, I won't be able to have photos anywhere as it will annoy me so much because it will look messy!

Good luck on the whole process Mooloo, and on the budget.
Happy New Year to you and DGD and I hope it brings you all you wish for. You have worked hard enough to deserve it!

Thankyou. I will only have photos on my phone or in the back of my diary. I haven't done the bin bag fling as I was ill last weekend and then back in work, and I'm with friends tonight. So it will be a process spread out over time.

Photos on your phone! What a good idea! Why didn't I think of it? :T

I did the bin bag therapy a little earlier this month. On some blogs, like Frugal Queen's, they were doing a different version of Advent, donating one item a day to charity, except I couldn't see myself going to a charity shop with one item every day of Advent, so went round my home one weekend and ruthlessly cleared out around 24+ items!

It's amazing this constant fight with clutter and things that hoard themselves in you cupboards! ;)
