Hello Peeps! I have achieved something today which I am proud of beyond all proportion to its size! I have taken £6.55 out of my cashback account and paid it straight to my mortgage!!!!! It has begun and shall continue come wind, hail or snow......
It might seem paltry but it shows a shift in attitude toward 'small' amounts that I would normally fritter away. In addition to the small amounts from Feb 24 I will start to put more serious amounts in but meanwhile I'm starting to build a new and positive habit.
The food looks amazing Greying! I am in awe! With family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!

Greying & MaddieMay thank you so much for your gentle and knowledgeable pushes towards cooking things I would never have dreamed of before. I am off to go to sleep smelling a freshly cooked loaf of bread and an amazing red pepper, tomato, lentil and cannelini bean soup.xx

Thanks INOD, for the kind reminder.
I am fed up of winter, it is wet, cold, windy, the garden is too muddy to venture there, the heating bill will be huge, and....... (all this, because l have a cold sore and am feeling sorry for myself)
Right, enough! today will be a good day, my fave coz will be back from her holiday in Finland, and my grandnibs are going to Skype me from their new apartment in Shenyang.xxxxx0 -

Hello Greying, hope you have had a lovely Sunday with DP. I have very little news today other than I've put another 7.99 into my mortgage as I got a credit note from M&$ yesterday. Met my father and one sister today for coffee and told them how proud I was of my small efforts...... and they burst out laughing!! A lot of mocking took place shall we say.
They think I'm totally wasting my time but we all on here know differently so I'm just going to plod on and share with you all if that's okay. You are a lot more supportive about these things than RL people can be.
I'm off to bed but just want you to know again dear Greying and friends how much I appreciate you all. XxWith family, friends and pets (or any combination of them) life will be fine!
