Morning x Good luck on operation 'Get debt free', I just had my first Christmas without credit cards so know exactly how jittery it can make you. I hope hubby finds something soon it will no doubt help make your budget more manageable..
How about making your to do lists for the week instead of daily so if you don't manage to do everything on your list one day you can still tick it off when caught up through the week? I find it helps the cant be bothered feelings when you don't manage them all xWeightloss -36.5lb/64lb.

Hi Aloofdragon, that is a great idea... cheers! I definitely have an issue with keeping motivated so the weekly list might help. Yep, Christmas with no credit cards was a challenge.... but it made me realise how much I depend on them which isn't good. The real test will be when I go back to work as I usually get sucked into work problems and debt issues don't seem as important. .. hence debt of over £26k! xNew starting debt 30/12/2018 £30,164.76:eek:

Hi nowpanicking,
Sounds like you've had a good day! I went through the freezer and cupboards today and listed everything I have, also had a NSD so feeling motivated for 2015!
Tomorrow I'm visiting some relatives in the morning then we have a play date and then off to my moms for a little party so should be another NSD!
Good luck x0 -

Ok... tried a few times this morning so trying again.
Firstly, Happy New Year to everyone! I'm hoping that 2015 will bring for me a better attitude towards money. Who cares what
things I own !!!! Family is most important, spending time with each other etc.
My plan for the rest of the week is:
- walk the dog every day
- Keep on top of the housework
- stick to meal planner
- stick to budget so I don't need to borrow from sis before pay day
- check bank every day and update goodbudget app with spends
- iron work and school clothes for next week
That's my list, fingers crossed the post works this time!New starting debt 30/12/2018 £30,164.76:eek:
