Hi Bob, I've been following your wombling thread since you started and today I can finally join in!
I only got a Necter card in December and went to S@insbury's for the first time since then today. I managed to womble 3 receipts whilst getting my trolley - one had the necter points claimed already, one was a Tesc@ receipt (!) and the other had a whooping 4 unclaimed points. So, I got them added to my card.
When I went to put my trolley back I had a good look for more, but nothing around, but I did find 5p roadkill! Bobarella - were you watching over me and rewarding me on my first womble?!SPC # 348 2014-£169.07/2015 - £156.89

Hi,
I did my main shopping today, so only need to pop in for fresh salad midweek.
I can't believe I didn't find any wombles or road at all. never mind.
Maybe we can share where the best road kills are. I find the best road kills for coins are garage forecourts and outside small corner shops.
Bob, have you looked at the try me free thread? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4185707
Cheers

Hi Gill
I find money everywhere. last month I found £1 coins on two quiet suburban streets & a 3rd as I left Tesco. I find pennies everywhere. It's worth looking anywhere that has machines like transport for London ticketing machines or self service tills. In convenience shops look down when at the till. I've seen lots of change that way. Coin star machines are worth checking too.
Thanks I hadn't seen that thread. I tend to only buy store own brands so don't know that I'd benefit that much but thank you" Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hi Bob,
Try me free! ok it really is 'buy it, try it, claim money spent back.'
Example, I bought some alpen in sainsburies today with 'try me free' advert on the box. I will try it (all of it- out of all the breakfasts I prefer ready brek to be honest) and then claim the money back it cost to buy it.
At the end of the day it should be free?
Hope that makes sense.
And to be really cheeky you could a money off saving coupon at the same time!
I agree there is money to be found at tills

Hi Gill
Thank you for the explanation that's handy. One thing I have found that is a good one is the Shoptize app. At the moment they are giving you 25p back if you buy a 4 printer of milk in any of the main shops. As it's only £1 anyway in sains you could easily buy 4 knowing you'll get through them anyway and then the 5th is genuinely free with the cash back.
The other app Check Out Smart is giving 1p per reciept scanned even if you don't buy anything on their offers list and you get an entry into their £100 prize shopping draw." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

Hi Bob, after getting my first womble in yesterday I was hooked. So, I asked DH to have a look at any old Sainsbob receipts he had so I could add them to my card - he had 3 from the last 2 weeks, one was for the big Christmas drinks shop which had 180 points!
So, today, I drove to another store (it was only a short detour from where I was heading) to add 194 points altogether. I looked out for more receipts to womble - but no joy.
I also had to nip to Tesco and managed to womble a receipt for 3 club card points - now added to my card. There were quite a lot of receipts around the car park, but I felt really uncomfortable picking them up with other people around - how do you get over that feeling? I managed to dart for a couple more but both had already been claimedSPC # 348 2014-£169.07/2015 - £156.89

Well done that's all brilliant. In all honesty it depends what mood I'm in. If it's mcdonalds cups I give them a quick tap with my foot to see if there is a bean save me picking it up to Check. I will normally pick up money if it's easy to get but some times like today I could see a penny right by the shop door entrance slightly under a shelf. I figured I may well end up tripping people up just to get it and that would have been rather embarrassing so I skipped it.
When I found my mega load of coupons and reciepts I was litter picking so it didn't seem weird at all. I had a bag and was obviously packing litter away too so anyone looking could see that. Maybe do the same if you feel comfortable." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D

What a great 2 days I've had!! Had to pop to T last night for a few things and wombled 2 receipts with 3 and 7 points so 10 in total. Perfect! Then today I was passing and needed veggies to make soup for dinner tonight. To my lucky I wombled two receipts on the ground worth 33 and 19 points and then another two worth 32 and 31 points! AND to make it even better with them, I found three price promise things offering £1.07, £1.78 and £0.33 off my next shop. So pleasedDebt Paid - £0/£7240
