Even though I have read over and over that this is not illegal, I am still not comfortable putting my name and email address in before getting multiple Asda vouchers ..... anybody else feel like this?

I haven't ever had to give my details in that way but then again I don't use Asda. Mr T & Sains both have my details from the card registration but I've never had any signs that they are unhappy about my wombling. I think being sensible is half the game. If someone is adding on thousands of points per week in the same way via unclaimed reciepts each time I can see why and how they'd twig but the odd few here and there. Do they really have time to care?

  • Sorry, don't think I am explaining myself properly. To print out the Asda vouchers on the Asda Price Guarantee, you have to enter your name, address and email before it issues a voucher.

Like I said, I don't feel comfortable with it, I just wondered if others have any qualms about it..... I suppose I am looking for people to say it isn't a problem etc

I guess with all these loyalty programmes we have to give our personal information to participate. Each time we claim a voucher it knows who has done so. I think unless they want to lock things down so only certain people can use certain vouchers then they must expect vouchers to be passed around, picked up by others etc.

A very good day today. Son found a sains voucher that says '650 nectar points when scanned' towards early Christmas planning. I believe that to be about £3 worth. A nice find.
