Wombled 1 mac bean from a cup on my way home last night. Have a full card already so on my way to another. Their coffee isn't up to much but the tea and hot choc is the same as most cafes where I'd pay a lot more than er free :)

Just found an impressive 20p by Sainsburys entrance and £1.05 by the bagging area in Aldi.

Also wombled a 13 and a 22 nectar point receipts.

At the weekend found 5p and partner and I also found a wooden pallet in a field that we brought home and have taken apart to make 2 x vintage-type bedside cabinets I have a design for in a Vintage Home book. I will be chalk painting it and sewing a Cath Kidston style curtain across the front. Don't know if that counts as wombling !?

Er WOW, yes, I'd count that as advanced wombling right there! How impressive. :T

I let a 5p go today. The rather gorgeous supervisor asked me if I had dropped it and I got a bit flustered and said no, suggesting instead that he popped it into the charity tin. I then had to call him back when my receipt didn't print very well to ask him to redo it (for Shopitize). It took him 5 attempts plus a minor dismantling of the printer to get one good enough to read. I enjoyed the delay...

I found a receipt outside the office today which I uploaded to checkout smart for 1p! Getting closer to £5 on there now, I'm going to go and pick up a couple of 'free' items to boost the balance this week.

I picked up a receipt whilst getting points on at sainsbobs this morning to load onto COS for the 1p but my sis said there was also a couple of items that we should get cashback on there for too!! receipt is a bit crumpled but its worth a try and its one less piece of litter out there ;)

  • I think I might be spending far too much time here on MSE forums.... Just woke up from a beauty sleep (post-night shift recovery sleep) and I had a very clear recollection of my dream about wombling. I dreamt that I was walking down the street and saw a 5p coin and a penny. I bent down to pick them up, excitedly thinking I will have a womble to report on, and then I found loads and loads of coins everywhere I turned, I could barely contain my coins in both hands. That's when I suddenly realised, it was just a dream. Wouldn't it be nice if it were true?
