Ok, basically for me I define wombling as anything that gets me something for nothing. I dont care how others define it, but thats me. My total for the year in my sig includes any clubcard points, nectar points, coupons, roadkill, tips, saving in bean spends, etc that I have got for essentially nothing. Whatever you feel is a free to you thing, is a womble :)

    Hi everyone :)

Hope you don't mind me joining in. Went wombling today and had my best session yet - can't quite believe it, though on the back of a really crap one yesterday so swings and roundabouts!

I went to ASDA and wombled a pile of receipts, a couple that looked very promising yielded nothing...but I found one for £5.71!!!

I then went to Mr T to pick up a couple of bits, as I went to cross the road I found a receipt for 33 points - so took that with me and got them added on! Then had a quick mooch around the car park and found a price promise for £1.70 which expires today! So went back in and spent it :) Oh happy days

Just stumbled across this thread whilst trying to search for any advice about Sainsbury's brand match.
I pop to the sainsburys near work often and am gutted that I never realised you could womble their receipts! I knew you could with Tesco.
Thanks for the lesson learned - I currently have £33 worth of Nectar points but would be nice to boost that up for a great Christmas!
    Thanks :)
I enjoy money-saving and am slowly entering the world of online earnings - aiming to pay for Christmas 2015 from extra income earned in 2015.
    So far: Bubblews £16.19 . Swagbucks £25, Neobux £1.29, Clixsense -.
Freebies/wins 2015: 2 x Convent Garden soup boosters, mini L'Oreal foundation, LG smartphone, mini Clinique face wash.

Good day today. 24p roadkill. £2 brand match coupon. 1 mac bean so now have a full card for a free drink.
Also son found a £2.25 off a £15 shop which is ideal as it's easily achievable.
Took some Mr T reciepts in to claim. Also used a 70p coupon off on a £2 pack of chicken. Which was paid for by the roadkill this weekend.

Welcome to you MK sounds like you are doing a great job already!

:hello: Hi Bob, I stumbled across your thread yesterday and have read most of it :) Great thread, will keep an eye on it.
I do look for roadkill but rarely find it (although did find 20p in the bottom of ds1's school bag this morning so I've claimed that!) but after reading some of this yesterday, I paid special attention to rubbish around Sainsbobs. whilst I popped in for Ds2's prescription and found a £1.48 brand match :) safely tucked in my purse for later in the week. :j

Nice work Hannah! Yes I am addicted now. I turn over anything that may be a brand match on the floor with my toe, dont care if anyone sees me :) It really is money for nothing so why not.
