Can I womble with you please?

After reading this challenge this morning, hub and I headed up to the blue supermarket (primarily to pick up my bargainous two duvets, paid for with the current boost offer - not a penny spent). Then, while at the tills, I found someone's £1.10 off your next shop voucher!

    Thank you for the inspiration!

    May I join you, please?

I used to womble in my hometown in the Netherlands; every two years it paid for a night at the theatre. Now that I'm in Belgium I've lost my momentum a bit (throw in three house moves, a dh and 2 dds), but would love to start again. Lurking on this thread has spurred me on, and I've already wombled one empty beer bottle (0.10) and a few supermarket receipts with unclaimed points (1,37 in total so far).

I can only do this when I'm alone, as dh does not like me picking up 'rubbish' from the streets/floor. However, I do give him the wombled receipts to hand in at the till next time he goes shopping (sneakysneaky - he does not know they were not ours originally).

    1 eurocent, 5 USD cent, 1 UAE dinar(cent?).

Someone's desk at work was cleared, and their desk organizer was put in the stationery room. This money was still in there after about a month. I'll donate the foreign coins to a charity.

Another coffee bean today, I was putting something in the bin and saw cup in there so quickly picked it up and took the card and the sticker.

Also found a tennis ball today whilst out on site visits at work. Not sure if this is classed as wombling but I have 3 now, I'm going to get a few more and try and sell them on eeebay.

Good bean hunting Muhren! I think the tennis balls count. Especially if you can sell them on.

Siebrie -Nice! I wonder if there is anywhere you can make use of small denominations of foreign coins?

Me today. Son found an 8p brand match coupon in the underpass on the way to school. Also found 3p on the way to work, & 6p after. There was more tips in my pot but didnt have time to count them today. Not super loads, maybe another £1 in change.

I tried wombling some receipts from the self service at the supermarket today, but unfortunately they were claimed. Wombling is slow, but points for effort right? I did find 1p though, which has made its way into our big cider bottle of coppers.

definately..and if you don't look you won't find. I have found 2 £10 notes this year and one £5 as well as a lot of other change and coupons. I wouldn't have done so if I wasn't used to looking for anything useful.
