Good morning all, looks like the weather is pretty general, wet, windy and cold. Lottie is not impressed with the wind at all.

Going out a bit later to meet DD1 at the swimming poll as her DH is taking the 2 GK's swimming so we will have a coffee while they mess on in the pool.

Glad you had a good time yesterday firefly, you work too hard.

Hope DD1 manages to get back OK Sheils.

Hope your DD wins at gymnastics Wingo, will you be watching her, I should take a cushion for the seat if I were you, dont want to get a numb bub again

Dull and windy here this morning. Just getting ready to go out. If it pours we will be back soon and no Christmas Food Festival. Hope some of it is indoors,

We had a great meal here for SIL last night he was very happy.

Wingo hope weather is ok for you going with your DD. Hope she enjoys it and does well. Thanks re win. So far I am thinking of warm trousers and some blouses.

Indie emails are a pain with Black whatever. Hope work is not too bad today.

Hope weather is ok for your DS Sheils. Saw Cotton Traders have reductions.

Well wind still howling here. Weather in Ireland really bad but ferry still running. Just hope DS1 gets there before 7pm. His 3 1/2 hour journey in Ireland took nearly 6 hrs on Friday. He isn't used to driving in bad weather as most of his driving has been done abroad. At least only 1 1/2 hours home when he reaches Scotland .
BIL has lost phone line and internet and branches everywhere in S. Wales. See some homes have lost electricity too.
Hope everyone here Ok.

He gave up FF and has booked into a hotel. Changed his booking to 11.30am tomorrow. At least he had a flexi ticket.

Sheils, hope your son arrives back safely out from the bad weather. It was really windy coming back from S.Sheilds that the car was swerving. There was a tree blown down too half on road.

Did you make it to the swimming pool Sylvia? Hope you've enjoyed your coffee too. There was meant to be a reindeer parade in town and the lights were getting put on but they had to delay some of because of weather.

Well DD was sick twice on way to S.Sheilds gymnastics comp and then they had to put her & her partner on at a later time until she felt better! She had to lay down in car for a while until she felt better. She completed it though and although she didn't get placed in medals she done well.

I've just done a nice chicken dinner and feel stuffed now!
DH's sis had gone to Vegas for a few days with BF and has called to say she decided to get married while they were there! :eek: Nowt like spare of the moment!

Goodness wingo bet that was a bit of a shock when DH's sister phoned. Weather has been horrible here all day was going to go to shops this afternoon for some little pressies for GD, GS and DIL's niece. I make them up stockings for them to open after christmas dinner. They love it. I usually spend about £10 each on them so pound shops come in handy. Will see how weather is tomorrow though I am not expecting it to be much better. Hope everyone has a nice evening.
