Kiddywinks stockings sorted only have to buy some chocolate coins and local shop has them so will get them in the morning when I head over for a newspaper. Not so cold out as it was this morning but still very dull and overcast. Saw that snow is expected tonight and gritters have been out here and also grit on pavements. Good your son is ok shiels hate when you have to worry in this horrible weather if they are safe or not.

must be getting bad up your way if they've the gritters out,
it's done nothing but rain all day here & had the lights on
all afternoon as it's been so dark!

Well we made it to the British Museum and the drawing exhibition. Turns out DH had never been there before.
We enjoyed the drawings and then went off to find the Elgin Marbles. DH has been to the Parthenon on one of his football trips years ago. So many artefacts from so many counties especially the Middle East.
As we came out We both felt worn out with all the walking. We were so lucky it only started to rain as we went for the underground. It's going to be Chinese takeaway tonight

Sheila pleased your DS is on his way back. So sorry for your DD's BF. Do hope the bank sort it out quickly.

Rose pleased you were able to go out today. You sound very organised.

Great you got the stockings organised rose.


DS1 arrived a bit late as ferry was delayed but got back safely. He heads off to Edinburgh tomorrow for two nights before heading back to Sydney. Time has flown in for him.
