Good Morning,


Wet and windy here so glad we are at home. DS1 had a bad journey to Waterford, took him at least 2 hours longer than he expected. Heavy rain and the motorway was crawling along he said. He is never lucky when travelling.


Hope you have a lucky day at your "do" FF. Your tiger pic reminded me I haven't got my onsie out yet!

Well, the wind and rain have stopped for the moment
and to be honest it's looking fairly decent out.

However .... we have had windy weather warnings
issued for the weekend (afternoon/evening) in my neck of
the woods .... so will be very wary! Plus we are going to
have a mix of everything through the day!

Hopefully the dreadful amount of Black Friday emails have
dried up now - got loads of the bloomin things, been getting
them for weeks! :eek:

Great you got to see the coke truck wingo, don't blame
you for not hanging around though, particularly as it was
bitterly cold and the queues were massive!

good morning peeps. Kiddywinks are still sound asleep so having a relaxing morning cuppa. No rain here at the moment. Off out shopping later to buy christmas present for dil and ds from gk's. (nightmare) as they hate shopping. They are not looking forward to christmas without dad but we have to keep their spirits up and reasure them he will be home just after new year.

Well we had a great time shopping on Thursday. We found some shops with reductions and not many people!

Sheila well done on persevering with the photo book. they are time consuming and then when the photos don't fit its frustrating. Some years I do a calendar. Sheils house will seem quiet.

We met up with my sister yesterday and some of her friends. Very good evening but when we went to come home weather was too bad. Allie your wind would have blown us away even in car. We ended up leaving really late
and only home after 11 but journey not too bad.

I need some new tops so great win. I was very surprised as email came yesterday and comp ended 30th I thought we are not there yet, looked again and it was 30th Oct. I have never heard of this company before even though they are based in Kent.

There are still about 500 emails to go!!!

Not sure what's happening with the weather here at the
mo! Was sunny, now that's gone in - wind is getting up
again! :eek:

Strangely enough though - it's still quite mild. Very
thankful for that!

Still bucketing here. Just booked a caravan for Northumberland for next May on a Black Friday deal. Top caravan for 4 nights for £150 so really pleased. Booked it for 4 incase any of family want to come for a night or two.

Sadly my puddy cat took a shine to it (not to wear you
understand! ) - she scrunched it up into a decent sleeping
pile - so that was that! It's still on the top of my bed
covered in her fur etc as I type!! :rotfl:

Good afternoon all, sorry late in today as Sister was going back this morning and took into Durham for her bus. Just the 2 of us now so can settle back down to serious comping as some have to just slip by when we have visitors.

Lovely pics today everyone thanks they really cheer us up.
