Been bucketing down here all day FF so not wonderful really! Sounds like you managed to pass the time productively.
We sorted out DS1s bedroom. No-one has stayed in it since he was here about 18 months ago so load of stuff had been put into it. Nearly ready now though so managed to do somethingMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

hiya sheils, sounds like you've had a productive
day as well, suppose these rainy days are good for us
to get the jobs we keep putting off done,
just been looking at calendar & am sure it's
wingo's jaspers birthday today
here's a pressie for jasper wingo if i'm rightplease be a responsible pet owner & spay/neuter your pets, too many strays & not enough homes for them sadly.0 -
Good morning everyone!
Hope you are all well and raring to go on this Monday
morning!
Sounds like you both had a productive day yesterday fire**fly
and sheils!
The leaf clearing plan went pear shaped due to the weather
becoming damp and a tad yucky. So I didn't do it!
However, today I have no excuses cos it's not too bad weather
wise so I will have to stick the brain into neutral and get on
with it!Don't mind when I'm out there ... it's just the
initial thought of clearing up those wet, cold and soggy
leaves ....
Just hope the frogs don't leap out at me either, there
are loads in the garden, particularly around the shed area,
and they love lurking under the leaves, keeping nice and
wet!
:eek::eek: :rotfl::rotfl:
Happy birthday for yesterday jasper!Hope you had
a woof woof of a day!
Hope everyone has a wonderful and winning day, will
pop back later.

hugs for anyone needing one & hope all of you

Going to be another wet day here although dry for the moment.
Thinking of going to the dump with all the rubbish that was lurking about the house. Thats the problem with spare rooms you put stuff in them and forget about it! Got so many boxes and household stuff that isn't working quite right. (Our attic was made into 2 bedrooms and an ensuite ) Usually have a clearance when boys are coming home - maybe they should come more often.
DD sold a load of her Barbie stuff on FB last night so that will make a nice space too. DH has a mountain of books but has been giving them to charities and selling some so going down a bit.
Loving all the pics, especially the frogs.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Morning all. It's a bright sunny morning here.
Sylvia GDs birthday sounded good. Hope you enjoy your stay. Forecast for North does not look good today.
Thanks everyone for the pics. Sheila's I said something to DH and when it was obvious he had not heard I said I'd have to get a megaphone! Then just seen your pic.
Had to smile over your DH and swans. Shiels I felt really tired last week too. You did really well booking a break for March. These holidays will be shaped up if people are not going to Egypt.
Fire Fly and Alfie thought of you going out in garden in bad weather. Good thing here is that it's still mild so not much need for the heating on.
Wingo smiled at you being caught by daughters in town great excuse new clothes for Christmas. I did some on line retail therapy recently for GKs in USA. Children's clothes where they live are very expensive. M&S don't charge delivery if you spend £30 and they had 20% off. I usually wait for their sales but they have Thanksgiving coming and need new clothes.
Wingo I was thinking about your Mum and Dad maybe a few days at a good hotel would make a break for them.
Indie, Rose and Katie hope you had a good weekend. Also everyone who just pops by.
Good luck everyone this week.
Big thank you to everyone who posts comps.0 -

Just back from the dump - still got 2 huge bags of clothes to take!
DH a fan of the Salvation Army so we take them to a collection for them. (took 3 today already) I will add it is DS3 and DDs clothes - DH and I don't posses as many as that.
Spent over £160 at Tesco today stocking up etc as I had a x3 points voucher and other things. Feel like we have done a hard days work!
Great you can send M&S stuff free to US leanfun. We are looking forward to Tenerife and got our usual apartments not that we have been for a few years.
Weather still dreadful here Sylvia. Hope it improves for you.
Well done on book win FF. Will it be good for a Xmas present?Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
