Got a Lake District break coming up on 15th 3for. Then DS1 will be here from Sydney for a visit.
Not sure about December, tempted by a cheap break to Tenerife but resisting at the moment

Today the weather here is going to be a mix of light
and darkish clouds ....



with some wet stuff in-between.




It's bonfire night tonight so if anyone is out watching
the firework displays .... have fun and stay safe.
:think: Though I would think the organised events will
probably be held at the weekend.



Apart from a bit of leaf clearing t'other day
I haven't really been out gardening cos I have got all
my lovely family staying with me at the mo. :j

It's wonderful to have them here, we always have such
a fun time.

Have a wonderful winning day all, I'm off to make
myself another cuppa and will pop by soon.

Dry here at moment but supposed to be wet all day!


Brilliant pics Alfie, thanks. Hope you have a great time with all your family. Mine will all be here on 24th so will be hectic. Older boys are 32 and 29 but they act like teenagers when they are here and get together with DS3 who is 19.


I am being bombarded with holiday bargains at the moment. It is like being a kid in sweet shop and being on a diet as I am trying to think about Xmas not breaks.

Hi everyone, thanks for all your lovely pics. Sheils love you pick - you know me too well LOL. Another break in December sounds good, go for it.

Busy day today firefly, hope they all go OK.

Nice you have your family with you Alfie.

Really busy today, got my dreaded breast scan and have to go to hearing aid clinic as well. Also have to get ready to go to DD2's tomorrow. Finally taking Rose back, she is lovely but keeps getting under our feet.

Must get on, have a lucky day everyone.

Wel what a relief. Had won a sausauge hame a couple of weeks ago I think. Was a bit worried in case it came while we were away. It has just arrived and lovely it looks too. There are 2 packs each of pork, cracked black pepper and venise and orange.

Hope you enjoy it Sylvia. I only eat Richmond sausages but sure my DH would have loved me winning that,
