I didn't get the washing dried unfortunately Sylvia, hope you had better luck! Got them in drier.
I went to mums and me & sis set mam & dad up on tombola as they don't go out much now and they love it! Hope they have a good win on it but they are sensible enough not to put much on it.

Did you manage to get all the puzzles etc done fire**fly? It feels like a Friday today rather than Thursday. I keep getting confused!

We had a lovely afternoon here and got washing all dry - it is ironed now too!!!
I would be too scared to play Tombola wingo. I play it when get free money or win from them. Did win £27.50 last time but immediately withdrew it!
Good luck with puzzles FF. I am useless with things like that. Don't understand why peeps expect you to post answers right away.
Did get 2 nights booked in Lakes to go with Whitehaven Premier Inn so pleased with that. Also claimed £40 of Bella Italia vouchers from Tesco voucher for Edinburgh break and claimed £5 Amazon from Best Western break. Got my £4 from Quidco win last month which I have put in Amazon too. Starting to think about Xmas now! :eek:

day either sheils,
the comps always have about 2 weeks in front to enter,
it's the wordsearches that I don't like
they take so long & do my head in with all the up/down/
across looking for the words

You do a great job fire**fly and I wouldn't worry about getting them done straight away! you're good enough to post them. :A I tend do be a late comper now so end up doing things towards end date!

I've started on Xmas sheils, got the main pressies in plus a few other bits n bobs. It stresses me out leaving things towards the end at Xmas so getting them done now. I never know what's around the corner so trying to be organised.
This week has just gone so quick, can't believe it's friday tomorrow. I'm meant to go to a fancy dress 18th tomorrow but don't think I will go.

We've been out and about for a few days, so just been catching up.

Yes, Wingo this week has gone very quickly. We had a trip to the coast and met up with family. My nieces's baby is coming on a treat. He's four months already. Like you Sheils we had a great hotel meal. Weather was good. Great walk by the sea.

Rose do hope you get some help at hospital tomorrow. Hugs. Great you have good neighbours.

Kitten your day out sounds brilliant. Agree with you about places being so crowded at half term. We tried to go into Canterbury today but traffic put us off. Found somewhere on outskirts to have lunch.

Fire Fly and Alfie my garden is looking the worst ever this year! DH does not do gardening and somehow I've not managed to get out there at the right times this year. Sometime I will catch up!

Hope you don't get a parking fine Sylvia. I went to pick up a bargain fron Argos last year and DH stopped car in a no stopping area and we were convicted it was going to cost £60 but nothing came of it. Hope same happens to you.
Sheils you are great finding bargains and going away. Keep it up. Had rains wall sounds great. We've not been there. DH hates paying for parking too.
Better look at comps.

Halloween party sounds good FF. Not doing anything here but as going off on Sunday we aren't bothered.


Leanfun, sounds like you have had a busy time. DH encourages me to find breaks as he loves travelling about although doesn't want to go far in winter. We usually do quite a lot in The Lakes in winter as it is so expensive and busy in the summer.

Haven't been on here (or comping) for agggesss... but a entered a comp at work today and it made me realise I'm neglecting my wee hobby!

So I'm back... hopefully to win... and I'm even more hopeful that I'll still be committed by the time the advents come out
