Your son sounds like my son Sheils with expensive taste! My sons Xmas clothes are Ralph Lauren shirt, boss jeans and he has an adidas tracksuit that cost bloomin £105 because he's in adults sizes now! I wish he would stop growing! He knows though he won't get a lot of other clothes.

Good morning everyone!

It's a wet start to the day here .....





and no sign of it easing up as the day goes on.

Hope it does cos I've got my lovely son coming to visit
today and my lovely daughter and her gorgeous family
coming next week too ... so looking forward to having a
full house again! :j

Hoping the weather improves so we can all get out and
about!

On the brighter side, it's still lovely and mild and haven't
had to put the heating on yet.

Good Morning,


Cloudy looking here and think are to have rain (according to weather app) this morning and dry in afternoon.
Been mild here too Alfie but have heating on for few hours morning and night. Great you are having your family to visit. Think I should have all mine here on 24th Nov for my mum's 75th. DS1 coming over for wedding in Ireland and having week here too so handy coincidence! Love the lion pic.


All my sons have expensive tastes wingo. DD does a bit but seldom buys anything at full price (thats my girl!)

The family are trying to find somewhere for us all to have a meal FF. The hotel we usually go to for things like that has said it can't do it on her birthday which is a Tuesday. No wonder some places don't make money! The hotel DS3 works in is the best but too expensive as there are lots of grandchildren and partners who don't have much money and with it being near Xmas too. Thinking it might be in Restaurant where DD works (they do fancier food as well as fish and chips) as it is a take your own booze which would keep cost down. DD and her bf won't be pleased though as they work there. Just too many peeps to have in one house as think everyone is coming.

I do hope you get some answers from the hospital and they can make you arm more comfortable for you.

You should go to the fancy dress Wingo it will do you good to get out.

Its always hard finding a venue that will suit everyones price range Sheils, hope you can sort it. Would DD be able to get a discount for you?

We are off out soon for shopping and a coffee, we don't need to get much but it will be good to get out.

It's chucking it down here and has been all night which isn't good for my roof! I really need to price up getting a full roof done for next yr.

It's a pity you didn't live local Sheils as there's a great venue not far from here where they do fantastic 3 coarse meals with entertainment too for around £10. I think it includes a drink too. Hope you find somewhere nice

That will be lovely having all the family over Alfie I bet you've missed them. I miss us all together Xmas day at mums for dinner but it got too much for mum so we all do our own dinners and pop over briefly to see parents. We do get together Boxing Day though for mam & dad's anniversary

I need to get motivated and get something done. I'm on a two day team teach course next week and won't be home till tea time.
