Nice to go out for a coffe but glad to be back as the weather is not good here.


That's not bad charging you 40p for crriers firefly and it goes to charity so thats good too.

Enjoy your party fire**fly I've decided to go to party myself. I was thinking it was an 18th and it's actually a 30th! I am going as Denis The Menace as it's any fancy dress and I thought it would be appropriate seeing as it's mischief night tonight! I will put a pic on fb if anyone on my fb later! it's a homemade costume so hope hope it turns out ok!

Sorry to hear your proble Sheils. How far away do most of them live then? Could you not organise one of you little trips around it and stay the night? Can't stand these very posh does and it does restrict the younger ones who haven't got much money. Don't you have a Bella Pasta or Pizza Hut around? Or Chinese where they perhaps have a buffet?

Have looked Wingo and the sausages are from Cornwall so hoping they will be nice.

Sylvia, everyone apart from my two oldest boys live locally. We don't have any chains around here which means prices are high. TBH we never eat out at home as consider it a rip off. Have 2 Chinese take aways but that isn't much good and they are expensive too. Living in the "sticks" is a big disadvantage sometimes. Lack of public transport too.

Hellooeee all!

Just come in to say a swift hi while lovely son has
popped upstairs to briefly catch up on the world cup
rugby on the tv which he has been following. :eek: Can't
be doing with it myself.


He brought drinkies with him so I've got a white wine
spritzer and very nice it is too! Cheers everyone!

Don't envy you sheils ..... very difficult trying to keep
everyone happy re making the plans for your mums
birthday meal. I'm sure it will all come right in the end.
