Hi everyone,


Home now, had a lovely break especially visiting Beamish again and all the lovely food we had!
We visited Housesteads Roman fort on Hadrian's Wall today. We have avoided this one as English Heritage members still have to pay parking. Found a layby and walked about half a mile up a hill to Hadrians Wall and then walked along on to Fort! Was a bit foggy but enjoyed it once we knew we were on right track. Pennine way was up there too (it looked a bit scary in parts) Our pet hate is paying for parking so felt quite pleased with ourselves!
Well done to all winners and Katie on weight loss.
Trying to get few comps done now.

neighbour came down this afternoon with some of her baking. fruit loaf and some fresh cream cakes yum so we had tea and a blether. her hubby came down later when he came home from work with some sausage casserole and dumplings. so dinner sorted for tomorrow. could get used to this. shoulder is moving a bit better but can't lift arm yet without pain so much for injections working quickly. have a hospital appointment on friday morning so will see what doc says. beginning to feel op was a waste of time.

Sorry to read that your shoulder is not any better. Hopefully the hospital will be able to help but as fire**fly says it is a while to wait when in pain.

I once hurt my ankle and it was all swollen and took about 10 weeks to go down but felt like forever so you have my sympathies.

bit of an improvement on yesterday afternoon where
we had wet stuff and it got fairly dark .... so different from
the beautiful start to the day.
