Yes sylv it is a long shift. I have 2x 20 mins break and 30 mins for lunch. That was a lovely thing for the vet to do.

Glad your enjoying your cheerios sheils, how many boxes do you get?

Well done on Cheerios indie - we are munching away at ours!

Well done to you to Sylvia. That was a nice gesture from the vet.

Who are having take aways tonight? We just had mince.
DH phoned up to book the Indian we like in South Shields for Monday night. Eating at our hotel tomorrow night. Think we will visit Beamish Open Air Museum tomorrow - haven't been for years.

Sylvia great DH is feeling better shame he past it on to you. Hug.
Great gesture from vets. Well done on win.

Indie those are long hours. I would not want to be working more if I were you.
    Well done on your win.

Sheila's hope you have a good trip.

Snap again. We had Chinese Takeaway last night and I have just made shepherds pie. Cheers fireFly. We had a very nice Rose last night.

Thanks everyone, I am not too bad but have a headache with it.

A 12 hour shift is a very long one, that's what me son does at the hospital he works. He only gets 2 - half hour breaks as well.

I had a lovely card in the post from the Vet's today with a lovely message from the staff. Attached to the inside of the card was a packet of forget me not seed to plant for Sukie.

What a lovely gesture sylv from the Vets - especially
enclosing the packet of forget-me-not seeds - very sweet and
    thoughtful. :)

Well done on the Cheerios win indie :j I don't blame you for not wanting to do more hours. DH works 12h shifts and they always phone him on his days off to do extra!

That's a lovely thought from the vets Sylvia :) Hope you feel better soon xx

Well done Sheils getting another bargain break! :T Good for you :)

Fire**fly, it's very xmassy in town today too. I think I preferred it when we used to start at end of nov/beginning dec as I think it's too commercialised now :)

Hope you managed to get some gardening done Alfie! :) Jasper has started pooping in one place at back of garden now which is great!

Hope your DD feels better for her week off leanfun xx It's no fun feeling poorly when you're off work. Well done getting through the Hammonds video! :)

Thanks for reminder Becks, hope you are well :)

I've been for a bit of Xmas shopping with the girls. Son hates shopping.
Unfortunately it wasn't the news we wanted with dad and he is referred to palliative care now but he is ok in himself and not too down.

I got the Halloween hamper from fb worth around £10. It had paper plates, cups, and that sort of stuff for a Halloween party so might do for next yr maybe. :)

I'm just waiting for DH to come back with takeaway. Chinese tonight!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Not me ladies .... had the rest of my pasta from last
night with a bit of salad on the side. :D:p

What's the weather been like for everyone? We had a slight
lull in the rain midday for a while but it's been raining
on and off all day really.

    graphics-rain-006938.gif

Looking forward to tomorrow cos apparently it's going to
be sunny all day! Well ... we shall see. :D
