It isn't really cold here wingo - mind you we have had heating on!
I am glad only DD left at school here and she can stick up for herself. She would never let me go in and sort anything out. Think she was scared of what I would say. I spent a bit of time with teachers when DS2 & 3 were there but they usually deserved their punishments!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Wingo sorry to hear your news. Your Dad sounds a great person. Pleased to hear your Mum will get some support. I know she has her family but sometime it's good to talk to someone else especially someone in the know medically. Big Hugs.
Great your DH didn't take DS in. You could all do without this. Your DS deserves better. This is all so disproportionate even if your DS had done what they say. As he hasn't it's terrible.
Chinese Take away seems a favourite. Wingo and FireFly.
Hope you are right Alfie and you can get in garden.
Kitten sounds as though your daughter has really settled in nursery after all your worries. Hope you have a good week next week.0 -
Thanks everyone :A xx
I've decided to come to bed to get warm with a hot drink and a walnut whip! The walnut whip won't keep me warm but it will certainly make me feel better!DH watching footie and he will no doubt fall asleep so I can have some peace!
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Good morning everyone!
Hope you are all well on this glorious 'sunny to be'
Sunday.
Really missed not being able to get out to do some
gardening yesterday everyone due to the on and off wet
stuff ...
so ... today I will be out there doing my stuff cos it's
predicted to be ...
:j:j
Lovely to hear how well your DD is doing Kitten, she sounds
such a sweetie - have a lovely half-term. :j:j Very well
done with your win too. :j:j
wngo - don't blame your DH for taking a stand against
the school and refusing to take DS in ... it's really getting
out of hand now!! Hope you get some joy at last by
getting in touch with the education authority!
Your dad sounds such a lovely man and it's wonderful
that you are able to help and support each other, your dad
must be so proud of you all. :A

Good morning everyone. Its dull here but no rain. Feeling better today so that's good.
So sorry to hear your news Wingo, your Dad sounds like a lovely man. Glad your Mom is going to get some support. Glad you are going to the School Authority to get it sorted out about your DS you don't need any more worry. Big hugs for all the family.
Have a lovely trip Sheils and let me know what Beemish is like these days. Its just so expensive to take the GK's though, I know its for a year but still a lot. Enjoy your Indian in SS.
How lovely to have such a good report from your DD's school Kitten, and well done on the hard work you have put in with her. Hope she didn't get you up too early this morning. Well done on your win too.
Love your avatar firefly, could do with looking for one myself! Will probably keep the Forget me not seeds until we move back down to Yorkshire and plant them then.
Are you feeling any better Rose? Big hugs for you.
Hi Leanfun, Indie and anyone else popping by. Will try and catch up more later.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Morning allLovely fresh day outside so got my washing out.
I didn't realise you were moving to Yorkshire Sylvia. That's a lovely idea waiting to plant the forget me nots xx I bet it will be strange for poor Lottie too bless her xx
Have a lovely break SheilsI've not been to Beamish since I was a kid either! Keep meaning to go back though.
Good luck with the gardening AlfieI've noticed there's lots more leaves around the garden so it's very autumnal now.
Fire**fly, it's nice you still have the zoo coming into your gardenWe noticed the squirrels came back in the garden on Friday but then we saw in neighbours garden that there were two rats chasing them too! _pale_ I was blaming neighbour as she throws bread on garden rather in feeders and I thought it might be attracting them. DH says they are just water rats as we have a stream running along the back of our gardens but I'm not too convinced!
Hope the shoulder is much better today Rose xx
Have a good day indie/leanfun/Katie/Becks/Kitten whatever you have planned
I'm taking the girls to pics to watch Pan today. Son has football but there's no room in car to go and watch him as his friends are in car so meeting my sis & niece in town before pics and having a girlie day!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
Hope you have all had a lovely day today. DD1& family came by and we all went for a scone and tea at M & S which was lovely.
We have our name on the list for a bungalow nearer my DD & DS and Freds DD & DS. It will probably be next Spring or early Summer before we get nearer to the top of the list. Hopefully my DD1 here will be near the end of her uni course by then. Its a big decision to leave lere but the rest of the family are down ther and it will be nearer to Fred's DD2 who is down South.
Do make sure you go out before it gets dark at night to see to the birds etc firefly.
Hope you enjoyed the film Wingo.
Have a lovely evening everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0
