It's been raining here most of the day Alfie. Although the town was too packed and I had to put my coat in bag as it was overwhelming with the heat!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -
 wingo
Sending big ((hugs)) to you all, especially for your dad.
Enjoy your Chinese tonight!
Didn't get any gardening done in the end .... bit too damp
outside for my liking.
Lol at Jasper pooping in the same place - what a considerate
doggie he is.When I dog sit the big lab, he can poop for
Great Britain and likes to errm hide them from me .... I
unfortunately discover them hidden around the garden way
after he's gone home!
I agree about Xmas too, it gets earlier and earlier each
year!

Hope the take aways were good!
Shame you didn't get in garden Alfie. We had a beautiful afternoon after the dreadful start.
Sorry about your news wingo. I expect you were half expecting it but it doesn't make it any easier.
The extra hour tomorrow will be quite handy for me - won't need to rush! Not going that far really anyway, just a change of scene.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Hi All
Busy week here, had first ever parents evening at DDs nursery school, teacher loves her said she would like to box everything she has up and share it with everyone else. She said it shows that I've spent time with her, she is kind, gentle, shares and plays with everyone. Also said she is way above the level she needs to be and has very high expectations for her.......i cryed! Only downside was shes not very rough and tumble but she will learn to be in time. She also said her name has come up so many time during the evening from other mums, which is lovely. Only wish every parents evening will be like that one but its a good start.
DD had Harvest festival on Friday in school. Dressed up as a farmer and they had to sing in front of the other children.
Had my first click to win from Bella, only small DVD and goody bag ghosthunters (childrens film). Will put in DD xmas stocking.
Have a few days off now as its half term so lots of family things planned.
Oh and this clocks going back will be a bit of a pain i think, DD gets up at 6.30am so she will probably be up at 5.30am now!!Let's be happy!!0 -
Great your DD is doing so well kitten. I remember hating when the clocks changed.
Well done on the win. Enjoy the half termMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Well done on the win kitten and fantastic for your DD with parents evening
Ours never had them in nursery only reception class.
I enjoyed my t/a too fire**fly but couldn't eat it all!
It was mixed emotions with dad Sheils as he tries so hard to stay fit & free of pain. He still does his garden and wanting to fix things for others. He is a very proud man. Macmillan are now coming in for support for mum too.
Its been a bit stressful lately and I got so annoyed with the school again yesterday. They told my son he was allowed back into school but going in consequence room all day (still over his stolen tie) so DH refused to take him in and I'm getting in touch with education authority about it all.Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. O'h wingo you are having such a tough time. Hope things improve for you soon. If I lived nearer I would pop round with a bottle! Big hugs xxxMar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

I know you would Sheils! :A It would be nice to have a compers night out/in wouldn't it!
Yeah it's tough times ahead but we're a close family so we help each other. I could just do without the hassle of the school!
I can't believe how cold it is tonight! Do you think the white stuff is on it's way? _pale_Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0
