Hi everyone, hope you are all OK today. Very dull here and quite cold but a nice wind blowing for the washing.

DH is still not really feeling well, he even had a lie in this morning which he never usually does.

Lovely pic Kate, you are doing well with the SW as well.

Have to agree with you Alfie, the trees are looking spectacular this Autumn.

Are you off on your travels again this weekend Sheils?

Hope you are OK firefly, clocks go back at the weekend so that will make it easier for you to feed your little zoo. Sister is popping in this afternoon with some cooking apples off her friends tree so will be doing some baking I expect over the weekend.

A quick question. Thought to ask here rather then start new thread.

What's best thing to do with links to comps but not in a position to post new threads? Injured hand = slow typing speed. took me ages last night to get two up on board

afaik & have seen peeps usually ask in

Compers Chat Corner

if they can't post link or are having problems,
they usually start a thread with 'help please...
& then explain & hopefully/usually someone comes along to help.

Hope your DH feeling bit better after long lie Sylvia - give him our love. x I have just been naughty and booked two nights away. My DH was encouraging me! We are staying one night at a Best Western near Consett, DB&B and bottle of wine for £89
https://www.bestwestern.co.uk/hotels/best-western-derwent-manor-hotel-83826 and a B&B night at Best Western at South Shields (stayed there for one night in the summer) Didn't get second one that cheap but organised Best Western points and cashback which I can pay into Tesco points so that will help a bit.
