Well we were supposed to have a sunny week so I don't know what happened! Its really dark, dull and rainy here so hope everyone else has a better day.

Thanks firefly, yes, it tipped it down all the way and now its lovely and sunny. Groceries topped up no ready for visitors.

Oh love apple pies and crumbles firefly. You are going to be busy. Sun didn't last long here and turned out quite a cold wet day. Just had a phone call from Fred's DD1, GS got injured playing rugby and is waiting for a CT scan on his ankle as he looks like he has badly broken it. He is on the childrens ward.

Hope your GS is OK Sylvia - kids playing rugby always worried me. My boys were all football players which never seemed so bad.

Will have a look at the recipe thanks FF but like Sylvia I prefer tarts and crumbles!
DD had some mix left over from her competition pudding (sort of lime and coconut cheesecake filling) so I made a base of gingernut biscuits and put it on top. It was really nice - waste not want not!
