Sorry to hear about GS Sylvia xx Hope he is back playing rugby soon. Like Sheils I am always worried when son plays rugby too. Just glad he is more into football. He still has oschlatter goodes (not sure of spelling) in his knee so it's affecting his football.

I've been back to the dreaded dentist for root canal filling. Have to go back again next week.

School have messed up again with DS. I got another letter saying his attendance was below 92 which was wrong as he has only had one day off since sept start. They have arranged a meeting for me to sign something according to the letter and it starts off in my sons name then goes on to say 'Christopher!' I called and asked who Christopher was and that they got their figures wrong and suddenly his attendance went up to 95% since letter went out apparently! I've still asked for meeting as there's so many errors I am not happy with. If I don't get any answers I'm sure ofsted or the LEA would answer me.

hope all is well,I am fine I have had a great day,had coffee with a friend and then went on to Waitrose for another coffee and do my food shop,went on to Slimming world and I have lost 1lb in weight this time,so the total loss now is 5lbs

My son always likes to experiment with foods fire**fly so he should definitely try it if I give him recipe. I do like cinnamon too, it always makes me feel Christmassy ....not sure why!

a few pinches of cinnamon in apple pies & crumbles are lovely
as well wingo, think lots associate it with Christmas
especially in mulled wine :drool:

Had beautiful weather yesterday ... sun and light cloud ..



and it's meant to be the same today!

Was fairly busy yesterday .... got the dreaded housework
AND the ironing :eek: done and dusted in the morning which
left the rest of the day to spend time gardening. :j

is Eve's Pudding - scrumptious with custard and a dollop of
cream!

Good Morning,


Supposed to be another nice day here - unusual in the school holidays! DD having great time in Edinburgh but little worrying for me as it is the first time she has just been away with a friend.
She got me to find her a voucher for Bella Italia before she went so they got one meal for a £1 (like mother like daughter!) She sent through a pic of her and friend at the Dungeons yesterday and is going to the zoo today before heading home by bus.


Love your little apple pic Alfie. Had forgotten about Eves Pudding.
I put cinnamon in my apple pies/crumbles too FF.


Wingo, hope you get that school sorted. Write yourself some notes to take with you so that you don't forget anything you want to bring up with them.


We are collecting our new car tomorrow. Someone must have found it hiding somewhere! Could probably have got it this afternoon but will collect it tomorrow and have a day out in it. We have the documents, insurance sorted and even named it (Frosty) before we have even seen it.
