Hi! Indiana Alfie here having a breather from fighting off
the large furry and small very sneaky spiders who insist on
coming at me from every which way! :eek::eek:

I'm the same as you sheils - really dislike the long legs
and the way they scuttle ..... usually after me! Wonder if
they do it on purpose!! :think: Naughty spiders!

Not nearly done yet so best crack on in a bit.

Weather quite pleasant here today. Still got my washing
piled up in a heap if anyone cares to help with the ironing!

Have a lovely break away sheils ..... hope the weather
stays fine for you and DH. Which day does your DHs birthday
fall on?

Well - had better go and carry on .... just going to have a wee peek at
comping board before I go out and start [STRIKE]hacking[/STRIKE] pruning again!

Afternoon everyone, love the piggy pictures. Your braver than me Alfie, hate spiders. I know i am bigger than them but they run faster than me..lol.Very overcast here today but humid. Come back sun we miss you.

Good Morning,


Woke up early today so been getting on with some dailies. Been out and hung washing out too - gave crows a fright!
Trying to get an early start as we are heading for Wallington Hall (Nat Trust) and there are lots of nice walks there. Will take a picnic with us.

Good morning Inners!

Hope you are all well on this wonderful Wednesday.

The day has started quite nicely here, fresh, bright, dry ..
the sun is supposed to pop out and see us sometime this
morning but may be due some free wet stuff this afternoon -
quite a mixed bag as per usual! :cool:

First thing to do today for me is to take a brisk walk down
to my local village and purchase some mozzie cream - cos
yesterday the little blighters got me while I was out [STRIKE]hacking[/STRIKE]
pruning parts of the garden!

Sneaky little things!! Have been bitten all over. :eek::eek:

Trouble is ... I've not finished yet, got loads to do ...
so gotta be prepared for mozzies and spiders! :eek:

Good morning

Hope you have s great day Sheils looks a lovely place.

Wow Alfie watch out for the mozzies. DH had some on hols not nice. At least the spiders don't bite.

Wingo day out for all in Blackpool sounds great. Yes, days out break the bank. DD took GS and a friend plus daughter to the farm I won tickets for this week and they all had a great time.

It's been hectic here. We have been woken up by bright sunshine through blinds in front bedroom. It's a bay window and I chose blinds for the front of the house!

Hammonds starting today but thankfully we are now ready. Young couple next door came and helped move furniture yesterday. They were brilliant.

DH has just made coffee. He gave us a big scare on Sunday am. He had chest pains we had the paramedics out and he spend Day and night in hospital. Thankfully all tests showed no heart attack this time. Consultant said muscle strain. He moved a heavy single mattress on Thursday and said he had lifted our cases on hols! Wow if my hair wasn't grey all over it will be soon.
Better get moving knock on door soon.
