Glad you managed to get back before it rained firefly. Just going to the PO with the torn up red card to see if they can sort it out. Hoping its some hair products DH won well over a month ago.

Afternoon everyone, yes i'm ok thanks just catching up with things.It's raining really heavy here at the moment. I was just going to hang washing out..lol. Glad i didn't although it would have been well rinsed.Hope the weather is better where you all are.

Thanks firefly. Meant to tell you, hedgehog had ticks which was causing the abscesses so he put some stuff on. She didn't have to pay for the consultation just the meds. Also he is still under weight so the Vet told her to hold on to him for another 2 weeks. Think she must have a notice in her garden that say "strays taken in"

I'm sure your DH isn't alone fire**fly I do like mushy peas with them too though! I grew up with mushy peas on my Sunday dinner every week but my kids won't touch them! When I was going out with a lad from London too yrs ago he thought I was strange liking mushy peas on a Sunday lunch!

I've had one of the best days I've had in a long while today! The weather was great at South Shields although we didn't get time to go on beach! We were in fairground, park, boating lake, hungry horse, amusements but it was great seeing my brother having so much fun and having his life back! What a difference in a year! He even managed to get DH and my eldest two on the most scariest ride I've ever seen! It's nice to have family time

Good morning Inners!

Hope you are all well on this rather dark and cloudy
start to Friday.

You were right wingo - have def got your rain here on and
off!

In fact, yesterday it was quite heavy at times so, as gardening
was out of the question, I decided a bit of house decorating
was in order so got out the paint brushes and got stuck in!

Came down to chaos this morning :eek: ..... but hopefully it won't
be like that for too long ..... especially if it carries on raining
and gardening is still a no no (not so keen gardening in the
rain :eek:).

Once I get stuck in ..... I can usually get something like this
done in couple of days (maybe weeks ), so long as I don't get
distracted by other things!!

Sooo pleased you had a lovely family time yesterday wingo -
and that your brother is now so well and happy -
sounds like you all had a wonderful time! :j:j
