Sun shining through blinds here woke us up early.

Wingo so pleased to read you and your brother and families had a great day. Brilliant news about your brother.

Sylvia great to hear your prizes arrived. Great you like cases. Something you wanted and won.

Here it's others doing it. Fitter finished the wardrobes in two days instead of 2 and half. So no one here today. They look great. Waiting now for the decorator and the stylist next week. It's already has the wow factor.

Yesterday I had a result. We had new bedroom carpet in all bedrooms a couple of years ago and a neighbour had said she would have our beige carpet. We had told stylist we would keep it but she wanted a different colour and then the surveyor said have new carpet.
Anyway neighbour decided not to take carpet. We had SIL coming and carpet was in upstairs hall for her to fall over. I decided to put it on free Gumtree well within ten minutes we had six enquiries. Two hours later a lady was so delighted to collect it she hugged DH and I. It was as if she had won a competition! She wanted it for her daughters bedrooms. Yes our room is very big she thought she could do two rooms with it.
I've never used Gumtree before but was so pleased.

DD and GS meet SIL and DH bought some very nice fish and chips. We enjoyed them with no mushy peas or dare I say onions. Thinking about it there used to be large jars of onions at the chippy but I don't fancy them.

Morning all. Been keeping up with everyone but typing on old lappy difficult - don't bring new one as cracked one once.
Having great time and weather been lovely although changing today.

not enough hours in the day! Glad you are keeping well.

Oh! Good news on the awful spammy emails I had been
receiving from a company called tmall. Well, not had any
for what seems like ages .... talktalk/tiscali must have
managed to block them in the end! :T:T There was a lot of
people on line complaining to talktalk so the pressure was
on .... yay ... they did good!!

Now ... have a difficult decision to make ...... the
weather is beautiful now here but according to lovely
neighbour, it's all going pear shaped for the weekend.
Hmmmm - decorating or gardening then - cos gardening
will be a no no tomorrow if it rains. :idea: Reckon I
could do both, painting for a while then outside for some
fresh air and gardening. Yay :j .... sorted!

Morning all I don't know what it is with me lately but I just can't sleep! I felt so tired before I went to bed last night but was awake all night. I came down at 3.15 for a drink and then managed to doze off at 6 for an hour before DH got up for work!
I've got all my washing done but my neighbours decided to have a garden fire again so can't put it out before the rain comes!

That's a lovely thought putting on free gum tree leanfun I've used free cycle before to give some stuff away but the lady who came for a load of my sons clothes it seems she had multiple accounts and she never said thank you or anything! It's nice when you get appreciated though like the lady did with you.

Hope the weather is holding out for you sheils Enjoy the rest of your break.

My mam used to get one of those boxed mushy peas where she would have to steep them for a few hours with a tablet thing in! Not sure if you can still buy them nowadays!

Alfie, fingers crossed you get out in the garden today! There's always lots of painting and decorating to be done here too!

Sorry folks late in AGAIN. Had a really bad night like Wingo and came down at 1.30 and went back up a 2.30. Just dosed off and Sukie started fitting again. She had 3 in the space of a couple of hours so slept in a bit in the end.

Wingo, its so lovely to hear that your Brother is leading a more normal life now and can go out with the family. BTW I have been doing the Blackpool comp on the CTW for what seems ages now. If we win it we will send it to you, you deserve it for helping you Brother.

You bedroom sounds as if it is going to be lovely leanfun. That was good finding someone who really needed a carpet on Gumtree. Unfortunately there are some on there that I think sell the stuff on which is really badd IMO.

I am really behind today with the comps so need to jump to it and get some hard work done in the next few hours.
