The Compers Inn (part 45)

Good Morning,
Sun shining away again.
Be brave Alfie! (rather you than me!) Terrified of big spiders - can cope with little ones, its the long legs I hate.
Wingo, have you any Tesco vouchers you can convert to Bpl attractions? Thats what I used to do. Think we are just going to the Circus when we take DD. She might be going to Pleasure Beach with her work anyway.
FF, we didn't go for fish and chips in the end. We had a free birthday meal voucher from Brewers Fayre (DH had steak) and had enough points for 2 desserts too so we headed there. It was further away than we thought though so wish we had just stayed for fish and chips as we had to rush back to collect DD and her friend. We called in to spend one of the £8 off £40 vouchers as well as don't have a Sainsbury near us. Ayr was really busy with traffic so DD was left waiting on us for a while. Ran out of time and didn't get a walk on the beach either but enjoyed ourselves.
Will have to get up to date today as heading to Northumberland for 2 nights tomorrow and then Shap for 1 night. This is DHs birthday treat trip! I know we don't need an excuse but like to think there is a reason to stay in nicer hotels sometimes. For nicer don't read expensive though as both were bargains - 2nights B&B £99 and I night £44 B&B. Just filling in their gaps for them I suppose.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Afternoon everyone  rainy day here even though local paper said sunny & 20 deg! Loving the piggies theme
Sylvia, I can't see your pic on this iPad so I hope I haven't put same pic on as you!
You always find great ones fire**fly! :T good luck with the squidgies today. I saw a good pic earlier on fb with a squirrel under a flower brolly but can't find it now.
Sheils, I might just do that and use up the tesco points. We spent most of them for sons games he was after so not as many now. I was looking around for bargains and came across an attraction pass for BPool that gives you entry into pleasure beach, tower, tussauds, sealife & dungeons for £58. No good for the 5 of us getting one each though but it might be ok if your DD is going in all of them. it does work out expensive if you were to be going in all of them anyway.
Have fun in the garden Alfie and watch out for them ginormous furry critters!
I need to go food shopping then taking phone to shop to see why it won't accept my same number. Have a good day y'all!Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!0 -

Great pics in here today again - thanks everyone.
Used to have the Merlin Annual Pass wingo - won a family one but kids were too old so two of us got it and bought the other two one with Tesco vouchers. We got our moneys worth that year although would have been better if we were further south. We managed all Blackpool's attractions at least twice in that year. Didn't know there was one that included the Pleasure Beach though.
Absolutely beautiful day here. Hope Bellingham will be the same tomorrow!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
