We are staying in the canasta hotel Sheils. Family have stayed there before and said everything was lovely about it. Yours are going back to school quick this yr! The two eldest are not happy as they will now start at 8.15 instead of 8.45 and finish 2.30. It totally disrupts everything for us though now as DD1 normally picks up DD2 straight from school until I get home from work. Have a good day in Ayr tomorrow

Alfie, that made me chuckle about the earth moving for you with the ants! I had visions of them carrying you into the house!

Enjoy your time off and playing catch up indie! I caught up with all my washing today as it was lovely weather. Managed to get all the kids bedding washed & dried again after neighbours big garden fire the other day at 11am ruined them out on the line! She did apologise today though and I said as long as she lets me know next time so I can bring washing in I didn't mind!

Hope it's nice tomorrow as my windows need a good wash. I'm minding my niece first so looks like a noisy day in the house!

Hope you are all well on this glorious Monday morning.

Hope the weather today is going to be like yesterdays -
it was perfect for gardening and I also got loads of
washing out and dried .... so double bonus! Must just
remember to iron it sometime!

The ants very nearly did wingo! :eek: I shall be well prepared
for them today - little blighters! :rotfl::rotfl:

That doesn't sound safe in the winter. Did you get a vote on times changing?
Don't know The Canasta Hotel although I googled it and it can't be far from The Carleton which we have stayed in many years ago when it used to be posh! (bit run down now)


Off to Ayr at about 10am so will have to get on. Forecast really good for it which is nice as DD waited until last minute to say they wanted to go there. Annual tradition for us in summer hols.

Hi everyone, look like its going to be a sunny day today so off out for breakfast, JUST the 2 of us so will be nice. DH if feeling much more himself today.

Yodel tried to deliver 3 times when we were away and sent it back to depot. Think its probably the hair products we won over a month ago. I rang them up and they said to pick it up from their Stockton Depot! Was not amused and said we had been away and wanted it re-delivering, her was not a happ chappie but agreed to send it tomorrow. If we had been away any longer we would have missed it altogether as they only keep for 7 days!

Hope you all have a lovely day whatever you are doing. Will catch up more when we get back.
